Wonwoo was exhausted.
He cursed his past self who almost lost his mind from starvation and drank this young hunter’s blood. He cursed his past self, who was the main reason why he followed said hunter everywhere.
And by ‘everywhere’, he meant ‘everywhere’.
When Mingyu accepted a mission to hunt a crazy vampire who went on murder spree, Wonwoo followed him, lurking in the dark, just to make sure that young hunter did not end up waking another vampire in deep slumber. When Mingyu almost got himself bitten and turned into a vampire by the same crazy vampire, Wonwoo jumped into the fray and sent his kin into nothingness. When Mingyu, still high in adrenaline, said that he was going to get another mission right after this one, Wonwoo held him by the collar and felt himself slowly becoming a babysitter. “Oh no you don’t. Sun is rising soon and I need my rest. Go home, now.”
Mingyu innocently blinked. “I’m having fun right now though?”
Realizing what was actually happening, Wonwoo felt something inside him snapped.
He dragged Mingyu back to the hunter’s dorm, flung the boy into the building, and shut the door with a kick.
Ignoring the youth’s burst of laughter, Wonwoo made his way back to his own lair.
And thus, his first night of being a babysitter ended (not so) peacefully.
