Summary
Halloween had never been particularly special to Alec. The mundanes were ridiculous of course, dressing up like the very beings Shadowhunters had to protect them from; but even in his less enlightened days, he’d appreciated the opportunity it gave Downworlders to fit in for a night as they were, so he couldn’t get too worked up over it. Certainly he had none of his own special childhood memories with candy and costumes to indulge in. Halloween hadn’t meant much of anything to him.
Until it became the day he’d broken Magnus’s heart.
Alec wants to talk about last Halloween. Magnus wants to redecorate the loft over and over. Madzie wants candy.
