Okay?” Luke doesn’t respond immediately, staring at the floor for a second before lifting his head, finally making eye contact with his partner, and nodding. “I understand you have been through something I can’t even begin to imagine–”
Luke was out there, in the cold, under the stars, awake for hours after he passed out, holding his partner’s hand– his body, alone for hours.
