The three of them make their way to Zhongli's side, careful to keep their footsteps as soundless as possible.
It's only once they get close enough, that Wriothesley and Childe hear the sound of not one, but two purrs.
Neuvillette is the first to take a peak across the bed, breath halting as he notices the ethereal dark haired dragon with teal horns and tail silently sleeping in his mates arms.
Wriothesley's lips part in astonishment, while Childe covers his mouth, eyes sparkling at the adorable scene in front of him.
After a few seconds of surprise, Neuvillette kneels by the bedside, and reaches out to tenderly run a hand through Zhongli's hair.
He whispers, so as to not wake the other resident.
"I'm so happy for you mon amour. Your child has found his way back to you."
Zhongli presses his head further against that gentle hand, lips curving up in joy.
Wriothesley speaks next, keeping his tone at the same volume as Neuvillette.
"Perhaps, I should've expected it given the genes of his father. He's just as beautiful as you."
The ex-archon's eyes glow with pride at the praise, his purrs becoming a tad louder.
Childe, having been staring at the way the young dragons tail was wrapped around Zhongli's ankle from the second he saw them, does his best to not squeal.
