What ever happened between us is still somewhat of a mystery, to me
The long, lingering glances, the familiar touches
All of those moments stolen for ourselves
The unspoken love kept in secret, not really hiding
But just trying to hold it all on a level seemingly safe
Passion, emotions, powerful feelings, all those things
We did share plenty, but as much as the heart wants to sing
It was all done in the shadows, in between the scenes
The battles, the missions, with the cause always our main fling
The master and padawan sort of story only came later on
The two of us already having formed a more permanent bond
But yeah, we did train together, a lot after it was all done
The rebellion over, the others their separate ways having gone
Still, the passion there never relenting, even if either of us was venting
Their frustration on the other because of… well, whatever
As things do happen between lovers, not everything good smelling flowers
Life, it is called, even when the relationship stalls, we still were together
But then, something happened, something odd, suddenly so
Loosing touch with each other, the cause, still remains unknown
At least to me, as it is so confusing, so unexpected, for you see
I have no idea what I possibly did, to cause all that hurt
And so now, here we are together, once again
The passing time apart for so long having spent
Learning things a new, well, at least the sparring that much is true
Even if it might be mostly awkward, clunky perhaps
But what about the rest?
Will it ever be like before?
When the two of us were lovers
Even if in the shadows of the others
The hushed words of love, life and future
The promises made, of forever
