If you don’t like that or are uncomfortable with it, there’s the door.” Lucius pointed to the door. “Pairs, once assigned, will have two songs randomly chosen by Black Pete, one slower and one more up-tempo. You dance the songs you get, he’s never wrong. You will be judged by Jackie herself. She will be impartial and will judge on three factors: musicality, improvisation, and partner chemistry. She doesn’t care about how technical you are or how much you want to win.” Lucius rolled his eyes as Jackie shook her head seriously, narrowing her eyes and looking at the crowd. “This is a one-round competition; the best pair wins.
