Chapter Text

King smiled.

The kid had been so easily willing to follow him the instant King mentioned he knew where his friends were.

This had to be the Second Coming. His description was exactly as the Dark Lord had mentioned.

King and Dark had met in Stick City, and Dark had practically been a dead man walking, he was so gravely injured.

King had been intrigued at what or who could have caused such catastrophic damage to another stick, so without much of a second thought (Heh…a Second thought) he had taken Dark in to help him heal.

It took some time, but King managed to get bits and pieces of the story from the red hollowhead.

A bad fight happened.

It was all Dark’s fault.

A mission code to ‘Destroy’ that made him go out of control and things got out of hand.

A young orange child with insurmountable power that disabled his regeneration and other powers for a full day, not to mention almost kill him.

Dark didn't seem to be vengeful toward this Second Coming character in the slightest, however. He accepted the healing effects and regeneration effects from the command block staff, with slight curiosity and interest, but left soon after.

King, so far at least, hadn't seen him again.

“Um, sir?” the orange child behind King asked. “How close are we to where you saw my friends?”

“Not too much further. A chunk or two from here and we'll be in my bastion.”

“You own a bastion?” the orange hollowhead asked, slight nervousness in his eyes but also a curiosity and intrigue.

King smiled as sincerely as he could.

“Yes, I do. Fret not, no Piglin shall harm you. They are all under my command.”

“Okay…” replied the child softly, fidgeting with his hands. King caught a good look at the color of his eyes and almost laughed in delight when he caught a brief shimmer of green in the orange rims.

This was the child indeed.

Soon, they reached the bastion. It was attached to a nearby nether fortress, and the two orange sticks could hear the lava popping and bubbling from blocks away.

“Would you like some water real quick, before we go to your friends?” King turned to the hollowhead behind him.

The child looked away from the marching Piglins below the bridge they were crossing, turning his head to meet King's. King caught another glimpse of the green glint in the child's eyes. It was so small, just barely there, and really only visible if the light hit it just right.

Interesting.

“Um, yes please!” Second smiled trustingly at the taller, crowned stick before him.

“Well, come along then,” King continued walking further into the bastion.

There would be no need to bother acquiring the Minecraft icon.

King had something much more powerful to use.

And hopefully, easy to control.

Notes:

I swear, I'm still working on A Second's Tale chapter seven, don't yell at meee

Also, how the stick did I write this?!
When the inspiration hits, it hits I guess.

Also, Lure III because King is luring Second into the bastion.
Ah, my titles are so stupid sometimes
