It's been a great year for Kessoku Band, their songs are getting viral and the band has been getting more and more popular! Now their concerts will get a huge crowd, their just-released merchandise will get sold out within minutes, and they will be instantly recognized when going out! Everything is working out so well!
After a meeting with their manager, Shiba Miyako, and their assistant manager, Satou Aiko, the girls leave the reformed building, which is much, much bigger now! It has two floors, isn't this amazing? It feels as if they're an actual professional band now!
Anyways, before actually leaving the place, they have to take an elevator, after all, the building now has two floors! It's not like this is hard right, just press a button, go in, press more buttons, and voilà! So they say their goodbyes and get in the elevator.
"Ahh, such great news today! I can't believe we're actually becoming famous!" — says Nijika, excited as always, but this time she was a lot more excited. "Right? It feels like a dream!" — Kita agrees and nods with a big smile on her face. Bocchi and Ryo remain quiet, as always. It's not like there was much to add, although Bocchi felt really happy on the inside.
"So we just press 'one' to go back, right?" — Nijika says while already pressing the button, which made Bocchi wonder why she asked a question and didn't even wait for a response. "Man, it sure is raining a lot today, huh? Makes it really hard to leave..." — Nijika comments, with Ryo then giving an amazing idea — "why don't we ask the manager to stay here for today?" — What the hell was this idea? Of course this would not be possible, and Nijika made sure to let Ryo know this by hitting her on the head.
Distracted by whatever was going on, no one was expecting this. An explosion was heard and suddenly, the power went out, which means they were trapped inside the elevator! Oh no!
"WAHH!!! WHAT DO WE DO, HITORI-CHAN, WHAT DO WE DO??" — Kita says, panicking. "K-Kita-san! C-calm down!" — Bocchi says, also panicking.
"EVERYONE, STOP PANICKING!" — Nijika screams — "Look, it really is scary, but we should remain calm! Soon enough someone will come to help us out! Let's just sit down and wait.". A minute passes, nothing. Two minutes pass, Ryo sneezes. Five minutes pass, nothin- Wait! Something happens! Kita gets impatient and throws a tantrum!
"THAT'S IT! I'M DONE WAITING! I WANT TO GO HOME NOW!! I WANNA DO SOMETHING! SOMEONE HELP US!" — Kita says, which is just pretty much what everyone was thinking as well.
"Kita has a point. We should something while we wait." — Nijika says — "Any ideas?"
"Yes, I have one." — Ryo pulls out a plastic bottle from who-knows-where — "Let's play Truth or Dare."
"My friends played this game all of the time!" — says Kita — "Did you ever play it, Hitori-chan?"
"Eh? Eh? A-ah... N-no, I n-never played t-this game..." — Bocchi replies. Bocchi thinks Kita was making fun of her, after all she had no friends before, who would she play this with!? But maybe Kita was just trying to bring Bocchi into the conversation, so she didn't say anything (it's not like she could even if she wanted, though).
"Alright! Let's play Truth or Dare!" — says Nijika. The four girls sit on the elevator floor and place the bottle in the middle of the little circle they made. "Here I go!" — Nijika spins the bottle.
"And here we have it! Kita-chan to Ryo!" — This a great start. Kita gets to ask Ryo a question or give her a dare! It's not a secret that Kita likes Ryo, so this might be good! Or atleast that's what they thought. Kita's question had nothing to do with her love for Ryo! What a disappointment. "Ok then... Ryo-senpai, if you could choose another instrument to play, which one would it be?" — Kita asks.
"Guitar." — Ryo replies so quickly it feels like she imagined a conversation like this before. What a bland start! Nijika thought that playing Truth or Dare would make things more fun but that's not what's happening! She wants to cause drama, make the elevator burn down! Actually, maybe these are way too extreme... but anyways! She wants to make things actually fun!
"Ok, let's go another round!" — Nijika spins the bottle. She hopes this time something really fun will happen, and she knows how to do that.
"Woah! What a surprise! It's me to Bocchi-chan!" — This is perfect. Nijika gets to put plan in action! — "Bocchi-chan, what do you like about Kita-chan?" — Nijika asks with a little smirk on her face.
"Something I l-like about Kita-chan... P-Probably the fact she can talk with people so easily... I-I really appreciate her for that..." — Bocchi replies. This is a good response, but not good enough. Nijika wants more.
"Hmm, is there anything else? Like, about her appearance or her personality." — Nijika is clearly trying to make Bocchi say things she's not capable of saying. Technically, it's not really that clear since no one complained about that, but the smirk that just grew bigger on Nijika's face says it all.
"A-Appearance... I-I think Kita-san is really s-stylish..." — Bocchi says — "She always comes up with a pretty outfit everytime we go out... This is s-something amazing about Kita-san."
"That's true... Kita-chan really is stylish! But is there anything els-" — Nijika makes an abrupt pause. That is because she noticed Kita blushing! Her face matches her hair now, both red.
"K-Kita-san?" — Bocchi asks concerned — Kita clearly (this time actually that clear) is embarrased by this. So cute!
"E-Enough already! Just go to the next round!" — Kita screams. Gotta be the cutest thing the rest saw this week!
"Fine fine, let's go to the other round." — Nijika spins the bottle. This time things will definitely get better! That's what Nijika wants to believe.
"Oh! It's Bocchi-chan to Ryo!" — This is unexpected, but it's pretty obvious what Bocchi will ask. They're both introverts, while Bocchi is a socially anxious introvert and Ryo an introvert because she wants to, they're still both introverts, so it's gonna be something about introversion.
"O-Ok... R-Ryo-san, when you go to a store, h-how do you avoid interaction with the employees?" — Bocchi asks. Yup! Just as expected, it's a question by an introvert for introverts. No chance of making things spice up a bit, right?
"Just nod to everything they say. If you buy anything, answer the questions the cashier makes." — Ryo replies.
Man, this is getting boring. Nijika feels like giving up and just playing to wait for the power to come back, but not because she really wants to.
"Okay, next round." — Nijika spins the bottle. Already feeling hopeless, she doesn't even care about what the next person will ask or make the other one do. Now that she thinks about it, no one did a dare yet. Maybe she should've went for the 'dare' instead of the 'question', now nothing can be done.
The bottle stops. It's Ryo to Kita. Nijika just wants the power to come back, nothing else. But while she was expecting nothing, she ends up getting everything.
"Ikuyo, I want you to give Bocchi a kiss on the forehead." — IT'S HAPPENING! IT'S HAPPENING! Everyone screams in shock, Nijika feels her heartbeat go faster, Bocchi has her 'dead fish' face on, Kita is in awe. This is the best day ever!
"Hitori-chan... a kiss... EHHH!?" — Kita is speechless. She has to give Bocchi a kiss. It's not like she feels bad about it, she actually would love to, but in front of her seniors? Impossible!
"C'mon, Ikuyo, we're waiting." — Ryo asks with her monotone voice, completely carefree. The other three, on the other hand, were absolutely panicking! (except Nijika, she was the happiest she has ever been.)
"O-Ok... Hitori-chan, I'm sorry..." — Kita closes her eyes and lifts Bocchi's bangs, slowly getting her lips closer to Bocchi's forehead. And then it happened, Kita gives Bocchi a forehead kiss. Nijika lets out a scream that makes Ryo think she's going to die anytime soon. This is the craziest thing that happened today, Bocchi and Kita kissing, a BoKita kiss.
Kita moves her lips away from Bocchi's forehead. Bocchi looks like she's going to explode. Nijika is happy, really happy. Ryo is still with a straight face.
"ALRIGHT!! I'M NOT PLAYING THIS ANYMORE!" — Kita screams. She's once again blushing like crazy.
"Nijika, are you happy? By that smirk on your face before, it seems like you were waiting for this." — says Ryo.
"W-W-WAIT, IJICHI-SENPAI??" — Kita is blushing even more. She wishes she could hide in a hole right now.
"OI RYO!! D-DONT JUST SAY SUCH THINGS WITH THIS EXPRESSIONLESS FACE!!!" — Nijika looks ready to punch Ryo. She holds her by the neck, really, REALLY angry.
Almost punching Ryo, Nijika and the rest are interrupted. The elevator door opens. Two guys who seem to be from the eletricity team are standing there. A couple of blank stares are shared. The power is back on.
