Ohtsuki Yoyoko was devastated- her band SIDEROS was too stubborn to accompany her on an amazing hike she had meticulously planned. Summary
Growing up without friends, Hitori Gotoh has missed out on a lot. She's been sitting inside all day and playing guitar all of her life! So on the rare occasions she does go out, she is unaware of social norms and too scared to talk to strangers.
Her life changed when she joined a band and finally got a friend group. However, there is one member of that band that Hitori has been growing very close to- Kita Ikuyo. Hitori doesn't know how to comprehend her feelings as they become more and more intimate with each other- and realize how much they need one another to live their lives to the fullest and begin to improve themselves.

The girl glares daggers at him from behind a pair of red-rimmed glasses too big for her tiny face. She’s looking at him like he’s totally crazy, which isn’t entirely untrue. “Huh? Who the heck are you?”
In lieu of answering, he asks, “What’s your name?”
The girl scowls. “Maki.”
“Maki,” he repeats, and it’s like a missing piece of his soul falls back into place. The record of his life before he fought the Six-Eyes brat is a long, impossibly white scroll of nothing -- but written on it in faint letters is the name of a child, a child with a delicate name that brushed the heavens, spun a prayer into letters; a name that began with an M, and it ended in i, too.
“Maki,” he says again. “I think you’re my daughter.”
