Chapter Text
Gregory was in a room under the Pizzaplex tied to a chair with rope. “Let me go!”
“You will join your friends soon,” a voice behind him said. He struggled in the chair wanting to escape, but he couldn’t. He was surrounded by dead bodies. Some children, some adults. But all of them had the same method of death: They were all stabbed with a large kitchen knife. Gregory turned his head and saw a woman in a rabbit suit stab a child through the throat like she was Michael Myers. The woman in the rabbit suit then stood in front of Gregory and raised her knife. “It’s time for you to join your friends,” the rabbbit lady said in an inviting manner. But what she didn’t know is that someone had loosened the rope, allowing Gregory to lift the rope over his head and lunge at the rabbit lady. Gregory pushed her over and ran. He ran up multiple flights of stairs until he ended up in the main atrium. There was a massive crowd of people dancing in front of the stage where the four main animatronics Glamrock Freddy, Glamrock Chica, Roxanne Wolf and Montgomery Gator were performing. All of a sudden, Freddy started to glitch out after seeing Gregory hiding among the crowd. He collapsed and Chica ran over to him. Whilst the crowd was being led out, Gregory quietly sneaked onto the stage and hid inside Freddy’s stomach hatch.
The animatronics were returned to Rockstar Row. About an hour or so later, Freddy rebooted into safe mode staring into a mirror. “Showtime already? I am experiencing a malfunction. The recharge cycle is not complete,” Freddy stated.
“Will you shut up?” A voice said.
“Who said that?”
“I did! I’m down here!”
“Down where? I still do not see you.”
“O.K. listen, you were sleeping so I opened the stomach hatch and climbed inside.”
“My stomach hatch? That place is reserved for oversized birthday cakes and pinatas! It is not a safe play area!” Freddy turned around, opened his stomach hatch and Gregory fell out, landing on the floor.
“Who are you?”
“I’m Gregory.”
“Nice to meet you Gregory. Why were you hiding in there?” Freddy asked in a demanding manner.
“I was being held under the Pizzaplex. This woman wearing a rabbit costume tried to kill me. She had me tied to a chair whilst she killed children around me.”
“How did you escape?” Freddy asked.
“Somehow the rope tying me to the chair loosened and I was able to escape.”
“So why did you--”
“I hear footsteps!” Freddy ran over to the window which showed Rockstar Row on the other side. A woman walked past the window holding a flashlight.
“That is the security guard. She can help.”
“No! I don’t trust her!”
“Why not?”
“She’s the one who led me down to the basement where I was captured.”
“Maybe she was trying to help you,” Freddy suggested.
“No. Also, is there another way we can communicate besides you talking so loudly?” Freddy opened his stomach hatch again. He pulled out a watch and handed it to Gregory. “What is it?” Gregory asked.
“It’s a novelty Faz-Watch. It will help us communicate.”
“Thank you.”
“You are very welcome. I will help you escape from this place, but first you have to let me out of my room.”
“How do I do that?”
“There is a vent in the backroom. If you climb through it will lead you outside the rooms into Rockstar Row. Then you will be able to let me out.” The backdoor to Freddy’s room opened. “Good luck.” Gregory walked into the backroom, climbed up the pile of boxes and climbed through the vent. On the way he heard Roxy praising herself and her own performance, Monty destroying his room and Chica playing the electric guitar. Gregory exited the vent and walked towards Freddy’s room. He couldn’t open the door because it was shut.
“The door won’t open!” Gregory said, annoyed.
“Oh. You are going to need a photo pass to open the door. Apologies, I assumed you had one already. You should be able to find one at a convenience counter.” After Gregory found a photo pass, he returned to Freddy’s room and opened the door.
“Way to go, superstar! I knew you could do it. I know how to get you out of here. Climb back into my chest cavity. There is still time, but we must hurry. If I am spotted, I will certainly be taken back to my room. I will escort you to the main exit through the utility tunnels. It is the safest path.” Freddy’s stomach hatch opened and Gregory climbed inside. Freddy headed towards a door that led him to the utility tunnels. He began to head downstairs.
“So where are we?” Gregory asked.
“We are now under the Pizzaplex,” Freddy answered. “These utility tunnels connect all the attractions.”
“We can go anywhere in the building?”
“Correct. Fazer Blast, Monty Golf, Roxy Raceway. They are all accessible to staff… with high enough clearance of course. Guests are never allowed down here. But yours is a… special situation.” They continued walking through the utility tunnels until Freddy could no longer carry Gregory because he was running out of power.
“I am terribly sorry. The recharge cycle had not yet completed when I found you. You must carry on without me. I will guide you on your Faz-Watch in case you get into any trouble. Freddy entered a charging station and the door closed behind him. Gregory headed through the door and continued down some corridors until he encountered Chica eating some garbage. He knocked over some cans which distracted Chica long enough for him to sneak past her.
He continued down even more corridors until Monty charged through some gates shouting “There you are!” Gregory turned around and ran. On the way Roxy and Chica arrived and also began to chase Gregory. He continued running up multiple stairs until he arrived in a security office.
“Freddy! What do I do? Monty’s banging on the door and there’s only fifteen percent power left!”
“Do not panic. I will upgrade your Faz-Watch which will enable you to access the security cameras.” Gregory looked at cameras on his watch.
“Chica’s patrolling nearby!”
“When there is an opportunity, you can sneak past Chica and head straight to the entrance. Good luck, superstar.” Gregory left the office through the other door. When he was able to, he seized the opportunity and sneaked past Chica. Afterwards, he walked through another door. A voice on the intercom then began to speak.
“Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex is now closed. Initiating nighttime protocols.” The doors began to close. Gregory ran towards the doors as quickly as he could, but he was too late. The doors had sealed and he was trapped in the Pizzaplex.
“No! Wait! I’m still here. Now what am I going to do?”
“How unfortunate, Gregory. You missed your chance, but there is still hope. You should be able to escape when the security doors open at 6AM. Until then, keep moving and try not to draw attention to yourself. If there is another way out, I will help you find it. I promise.” Gregory huffed, annoyed at the fact that he would either have to find another way out or wait for another six hours for the security doors to open. He leaned back against the security doors and briefly shut his eyes.
“Hey!” Someone shouted. Gregory opened his eyes and saw the security guard walk towards him. Gregory looked around in a panic. “It’s O.K. I’m not going to hurt you,” the woman said, calmly as she approached. “You’re now trapped here and I just want to help you escape.”
“Really?” Gregory asked, sounding across between worried and curious.
“Yes. I know Freddy’s helping you, but Chica, Roxy and Monty will try and kill you if they find you. None of them will stop hunting you. You’ll need me to escape. Please, let me help you.” Gregory continued to look at Vanessa cautiously.
“Look, I can get you out of here. But in order to do that… you’ve got to trust me, O.K.?” Vanessa asked. Gregory nodded.
“O.K.”
“Good. Now, let’s get out here.” Vanessa and Gregory began to walk towards the lobby. “I’m Vanessa by the way.”
“Gregory.”
“Nice to meet you Gregory. Now, come on, let’s find another way out of here.”
