Chapter Text
The sweet aroma filled the air. The chirping chatter resounded upon the open space. Beauty and colours decorated the scenery. The cheerful glee represented the current mood. Flowers. Exquisite furniture. Delicious-looking pastries. A pot of tea filled with warmth. None of the flaws could be seen here.
“Well, you see, my ladies. When I was strolling around my beautiful garden, I found these beautiful bird feathers, which were left behind by a divine bird that took a temporary shelter inside my garden,” the young girl's voice, full of glee, caught the attention of the world.
“My, how blessed are you, my princess!” Another voice joined in.
“Being gifted by a divine bird is akin to being blessed for the whole life!” Another voice spoke in awe.
“As expected of you, Your Highness. After all, your entire birth is the whole blessing on this land.” Another girl chirped in.
“Oh my, how wonderful of all you are! Be wonders, my ancestry has been chosen by the divines to rule this land for eons of time.” The most gleeful voice once again clamoured in the middle of cheerful giggles. “That’s why the divine bird decided to bless me for my entire existence.”
“How wonderful…” A soft voice loomed behind the melodious chatter.
“Princess Furina.” A soft masculine voice interrupted the tea party, quickly gaining the attention of the ladies.
“Oh my, dear Lord Neuvillette. Have you finally come here to join us for a cup of tea? Here, take a seat–”
“We have an important meeting today, Princess Furina.” His voice became stern and calm. Emphasizing the word ‘important’ to the lady sitting in front of him.
She went quiet for a moment. Then she quickly gained track, “Oh my, how could I ever forget that, my dear Neuvillette? I’m just waiting for the guests to arrive.” She rose from her seat and carefully adjusted her blue dress. “Very well. My dear ladies. Our tea party has to end here as I have to fulfil my duty as the school representative. Dada~ see you later!”
She parted off the table with the maids in tow. Reaching the handsome young man who offered her to take his arm, as she gladly took it, linking their arms together. They soon walked away from the venue.
As soon as the couple had gone from their sight. The chaos erupted, sending the whole tea party gang into chaos.
“Did you see that?”
“I saw that well, right in front of my eyes, clearly!”
“How wonderful! I’m so jealous!”
“They are a match made in heaven. No wonder they got engaged with each other!”
“I hope my future husband will be like Lord Neuvillette too. Even half of it is fine!”
“How wonderful…”
“Yes, that’s very wonderful right?”
“How wonderful…” A soft, quiet voice loomed in the shadow of the excited chaos.
