Adrien happily walked through the parking lot, trailing after Marinette. He admired the pink ribbons in her hair, imagining the different ways she could tie them.
She suddenly stopped and he bumped into her, blinking.
She gestured at the store, signalling that they had arrived.
He smiled brightly. Marinette had mentioned that she was going shopping at a nearby department store, and he'd asked to go because well, he'd never been in a department store. That he could remember, anyway. Marinette has gladly agreed.
The two walked into the store, feeling the rush of hot air blow down on them as they stepped through the sliding doors, shielding them from the cold outside.
As soon as Adrien stepped in, his eyes widened in awe and delight. "Woah..." He breathed.
Christmas music played softly, and there were Christmas items everywhere.
Everywhere he looked, there was something that caught his eye. In his distraction, he didn't notice that Marinette's eyes were on him and him only.
She watched his face light up and she smiled softly, a small pink tint spreading on her cheeks as she looked at him. He was adorable.
Adrien flit around, looking at everything around them. She followed him as he looked at every little thing that he found interesting.
He ended up grabbing a headband with light up reindeer antlers and put them on, tag and all.
Marinette would fight any employee that tried to make him take them off.
She led him to one of the best parts of the store; the body products.
His eyes widened as he stared at all the colourful soaps, smelling all of them. His nose was so confused by the end of it, and Marinette giggled watching him.
He bought a ginger bread soap for he and Felix's dorm, and Marinette grabbed a sugar cookie soap for her and Kagami.
She watched Adrien wander the entire store, antlers lighting up as he touched everything like an excited toddler. She could barely take it, it was so cute.
They stayed until their legs were tired, and she convinced Adrien that they should probably walk home by now. He reluctantly agreed, and they paid for their things as well as candy canes for them and their roommates.
They walked home, the snow softly falling around them, Adrien's new antlers bright in the darkening sky.
Somehow, their gloved hands found their way into each other.
