"How are you doing my friend?" Orion asked, sitting at his desk as he stared into the monitor. Orion grinned at the screen, the other end dark with Megatronus's blue optics casting over his face.
"Hey, Orion.. yea, I'm alright" Megatronus coughed, his voice stuffy and raspier than before. Orion gave an audible sigh of concern.
"You sound weird, are you sure you're alright?" Orion asked, leaning himself onto his desk, tilting his head in concern for Megatronus. "I'm alright, I promise," Megatronus said. Orion rolled his optics and noticed how tired and beat-up Megatronus looked.
"I'm coming over tomorrow, should I be worried and bring things for you?" Orion asked, figuring he was going to do that anyway.
"No no, my friend... do not get anything for me, I'm alright," Megatronus said, forcing a small chuckle. "I am glad you are coming to visit," Megatronus said, a small grin on his lips.
"Get some recharge Megatronus, I shall see you tomorrow" Orion grinned, Megatronus returning the gesture as they ended the call.
NEXT CYCLE
DAYTIME
Orion quickly walked towards the underground Gladiator pits, a small bag tucked under his cloak.
A very tired Megatronus greeted him. Megatronus looked very sick, barely able to hold himself up but he put on his best appearance for the small archivists.
"You are sick," Orion said, grabbing Megatronus's lower forearm as he walked into the pits quarters area.
"No no, I'm alright Orion-..." Megatronus sneezed, coughing after. Orion held onto Megatronus very tightly. Megatronus was barely functioning as he swayed with each step with Orion.
"You need to go lay down, come on," Orion said, trying to keep Megatronus up. Megatronus huffed as his armor shifted on his form. "I'm fine Orion, I'm just tired is all, I am not sick," Megatronus said, still letting Orion lead him to his room.
Orion got Megatronus to lie down, taking the bag he had wrapped around his arm off and taking some things out. He put a cool patch on Megatronus's head, then pulled out an energon cube.
"Drink this," Orion said, handing Megatronus the cube.
Megatronus nodded, quickly downing the cube and sighing in relief.
"Orion, I appreciate your concern but I am ok," Megatronus said, his tired optics looking at Orion. Orion's vents huffed and he looked over at his sick companion.
"You are sick Megatronus, I want to take care of you so I will stay for a few days," Orion said, continuing to pull small medical things from the bag.
Megatronus rolled his optics and groaned, tossing his head to the side and closing his optics for a moment. He was quick to wake again, jolting up basically but being instantly laid back down.
"You have to rest," Orion said, fixing the cool patch on Megatronus's burning forehead. Megatronus pouted, huffing like a little sparkling.
Megatronus grabbed Orions hand, pulling the small bot over to him and hugging him, dragging him into his bed and snuggling up to him.
"Megatronus- what are you doing?-..." Orion blushed, "you really need to sleep-" Orion sighed, rolling his optics as he knew he wasn't going to be let go soon.
Megatronus grinned and let Orion get comfortable. Megatronus snuggled his head into Orions neck, his arms wrapped around his lower torso. Orion chuckled and began to rub the sick gladiators head.
Megatronus soon fell asleep, leaving Orion to try and grab for his data pad so he had something to do.
Orion grinned, looking at Megatronus before focusing back on his data pad.
Soundwave knocked on the door, entering after a moment to greet Orion.
"Greetings: Orion Pax," Soundwave nodded, his monotone voice echoing through the quarters.
"Hello Soundwave" Orion nodded, grinning as he set his pad down. "Appreciation: taking care of Megatronus," Soundwave said, his head looking over at the sleeping gladiator before looking back at Orion.
"Of course, I'll probably stay here for a few cycles to take care of him, if that's alright," Orion said, getting an approval nod from the silent bot.
"If you can, don't let him fight. I know I certainly won't be able to stop him but we have to make sure he doesn't fight while sick" Orion chuckled, marking Megatronus as the most stubborn bot in the galaxy.
Megatronus slowly stirred out of his sleep, his tired optics narrowing at his son.
"Don't do that! I can fight..." Megatronus said, his head slightly swaying before he crashed back down into Orions side.
Orion chuckled, looking back at to Soundwave who nodded and left.
NIGHT TIME
Megatronus slowly woke again, looking up to see Orion.
"Go back to sleep," Orion said, his voice soft as his baby blue optics shone on Megatronus.
"Mmmmm.... but I don't want to..." Megatronus groaned, his hand pushing into a small crevice in Orions frame, pushing onto his protoform.
"Watch your hands-..." Orion blushed madly, grabbing Megatronus's hand and moving it away.
Orion then chuckled. "I got to get up, you need some medicine" Orion said, finding it rather easy to push the gladiator off.
Orion got up and grabbed some medicine. He went back over to Megatronus and helped him take it, glad his friend was finally accepting help.
He turned back to place the medicine cup back down, he then was tugged back to the bed by Megatronus grabbing him.
Megatronus cuddled Orion, his strength seeming to have come back as Orion couldn't get up.
He rested his head onto Orions chest, liking the sound of his spark beating. Megatronus tangled his legs with Orions, wrapping his arms around orions torso again. Orion blushed but smiled, liking this.
"I love you..." Megatronus said, on the verge of recharge.
"I love you to," Orion grinned. The two falling into recharge.
