Logan's stomach hurt.
He wanted, craved something- Anything.
Normally, he could ignore the hunger pains well enough but, for whatever reason, he couldn't in this particular moment.
It was Aiden who picked up on the boy's expression.
Figures, he couldn't hide his discomfort.
"What's going on?" Aiden asked quietly, not trying to clue in the others that something was off. Logan always hated being in the spotlight, after all.
Logan sighed. There was no point in lying.
Maybe before everything he would've lied and said he was fine, but they'd all put their lives in each other's hands. He could tell Aiden the truth.
"I'm hungry"
"Oh" Aiden replied. That wasn't what he'd expected. "Do you want me to find you a snack?"
"No" Logan shook his head. Aiden frowned.
Logan barely ate. They all knew it and they tried not to say much on it for fear of making it worse, but it was times like this that made it pretty hard to ignore.
"Why not?"
"It's your food"
"Actually, it's my parents'" Aiden replied. "And they are not struggling financially, I promise"
"But..." Logan trailed off, realizing he didn't actually have a rebuttal. That was the most frustrating part of what he was starting to accept as his eating disorder- It wasn't based on physical appearance or weight, so he didn't have an easy write-off about it.
If someone asked why he didn't want to eat, he couldn't say it was because he thought he was fat or that he needed to cut down on sugar.
Eating just stressed him out and he hated doing it, even when his stomach was begging him to.
"I'll get you something easy" Aiden compromised. "I know what all your safe foods are, okay? How about a salami sandwich?"
Logan considered this for a moment. That didn't sound completely horrible.
"Fine" he sighed, feeling a bit of guilt as he followed Aiden into the kitchen and watched the blonde begin the process of making a sandwich for him. "...Thank you, Aiden"
"You're welcome"
