The “Welcome to Gotham” sign seems superfluous; Clint can feel it when they enter the city.
“Oh,” he says, shocked, and has to consciously focus on not levitating out of his seat. “Oh, holy shit.”
“Yeah,” Bucky agrees wryly. He shoves up his sleeve and holds out his arm so Clint can see the way all the hair on it is standing up. Then he grabs Clint’s hand and presses a kiss to the knuckles.
Clint always thought people were exaggerating when they talked about Gotham.
