Checo has taken Max to his hometown. It's precious to Max. He loves seeing where his boyfriend grew up. He loves being around his family and getting to experience his December customs.
It's especially lovely, Max thinks, to be able to end the year by Checo's side. They countdown to midnight and kiss as the clock strikes twelve. Max read something once about how you are supposed to start the year as you mean to go on and this is exactly what he wants the entire year to be. Checo and him, side by side, totally in love and happy.
