The Universe’s Most Hated One

Summary:

On the 7th of December, 1989, the balance of the world stayed the same. The 7th of December, 1989, was not any cause of celebration, in fact, it was cause for mourning within the Gojo clan.

The Six Eyes and Limitless techniques were not incarnated that year.

Notes:

Gojo is alive. He just wasn’t born with the Six Eyes and Limitless techniques. He will never be the strongest. He is simply cannon fodder to the Jujutsu world. Not to Shoko and Geto, he isn’t though.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

On December 7th, 1989, mass disappointment rang out throughout the Gojo Clan. The day would be disgraced forever in the clan. “He was supposed to be the One,” they all whispered, staring down at the albino child, “He has ruined everything.”

Born on the 7th of December, 1989, Gojo Satoru would be the family’s disgrace.

“Dad!” A young Satoru ran up to his father, holding a drawing of him and his father together. It wasn’t a masterpiece, just being blocky shapes coloured in with crayons. Satoru held it high above his head, trying to show his father, “Dad look at what I drew!” He smiled wide, showing the gap in his teeth.

His father glared down at him, “Go away Satoru.” He pushed his son’s arms down so they weren’t waving in the air. “I don’t have time to humour you today. I’m busy.”

Satoru looked up at his father once more, and walked away.

Shoko glanced back at Gojo. The two of them had gotten out of a meeting with another Sorcerer. Geto didnt need to go to small meetings like that anymore. He was the Strongest there was, leaving behind Gojo and Shoko.

“You okay?” She turned to ask Gojo. He had been biting his lip the whole time and didn’t even glance up when the other Sorcerer  had insulted him to his face. Shoko never understood how Gojo did it.

He nodded, giving her a shaky smile. “Of course I’m okay, Shoko.” He replied, rubbing his neck, “What he said isn’t anything new.”

She whipped around to face him, “WHAT?” He stopped, startled as she walked towards him, “Your eyes are beautiful! A little dull but hey-“

He frowned, “Thats the thing.” He said, “Everyone in my clan thought I’d be special, that I’d get the Clan’s techniques, that I’d be the One!” He explained, “But I don’t have them, I’m a failure to everyone, I’m not good for anything but fodder now.” Tears pricked at his eyes and he wiped them away.

She put her hand on his shoulder, “Don’t say that.” She grabbed his chin and tilted it up to meet her’s, “You are worth so much more than just fodder.”

Gojo moved her hand away from him, “Thanks for trying.” He said and he left. Shoko stood there, devising a plan on how to help him.

Satoru sighed as he walked into the lounge room of the dorm, only to be whisked away by a odd-shaped shadow the second he entered. He struggled against their grasp, kicking with all his might only for Shoko to hiss. “Stop kicking me dammit!”

He stopped and he was let go, “Shoko?” He sent her a questioning stare, “Why are you kidnapping me?”

She grabbed a cucumber and bopped him on the head with it. “Go sit on the couch, Geto wants to talk to you.”

His eyes lit up, “Geto is back from his mission!” He smiled widely. Shoko smirked, “Uh-huh.” He ran off and jumped onto the couch next to Geto.

“Hey Satoru!” Geto smiled at him, “Whats up?”

Satoru smiled at his friend. He hardly got to see him. Geto was a special grade and got sent on all these tough missions. Gojo was a third grade, Good for exorcising flyheads and setting up barriers. As such, their missions never were the same.

“Nothing much.” Satoru sighed, “Missions are pretty boring, even Shoko does more than me!” He rested his head on Geto’s shoulder. Satoru knew he was needy like that, always demanding stuff like physical touch that he didn’t deserve.

Suguru looked down at Satoru and put his arm around him, “I’ve been thinking.” He said, his voice growing serious. “We should leave.”

“Like go into town for a day?” Satoru asked, looking up at Suguru’s eyes.

Suguru shook his head, “No I mean like, forever.” He started running his finger’s through Satoru’s hair and Satoru melted into the touch, “Shoko, you, and I could all leave. We could go rogue and live normally. Together.”

Gojo hummed, “But dont you like being a sorcerer?”

“I like whatever makes you happy.” Geto responded, leaning in closer to Satoru’s face. “And you aren’t happy here.”

Satoru kissed Geto on the lips, “I’m happy to be your One and Only anywhere, as you are mine.”

Geto smiled, picking up Satoru bridal style, “It’s settled then!” He started walking to the dorms, “Shoko! We’re going rogue!”

She ran in, bag slung over her shoulder, “I thought you’d never say that!” She smiled and ruffled Satoru’s hair, “So where are we going first?”

Geto hummed an looked down at Satoru, “Anywhere you wanna go first, My love?”

Satoru blushed but smiled, leaning against Geto’s chest, “London?” He asked and Shoko chuckled.

“Paris for the lovebirds it is then!” She chuckled and they left Jujutsu High. Forever.

Fushiguro Megumi watched as they killed his uncle in front of him. The albino one offering him a hand. He said that he could be happy, be safe from a world that wants to use him. Said that thats what they were working towards.

Fushiguro took his hand.
