Summary
When Bradley tells Maverick that his new year's resolution is to spend the next year wooing the person he loves, his regret is instant. He’d left his confession too late, Bradley had moved on, fallen in love and all Maverick could do was watch from the sidelines and hope the person Bradley was spending his time on was worthy and that he wouldn’t forget about him.
Maverick shouldn’t have worried. If anything, Bradley spent more time with him, ensuring to strengthen their friendship, showering him with time and gifts, enough so that Maverick joked he was the one being wooed.
