Summary
When Dong-mae finally sees Hui-seong again outside a teashop by the sea, it’s entirely a coincidence. It takes him entirely by surprise, because—well, honestly, he’d thought Hui-seong was also dead. He’d heard the rumors that Hui-seong had been captured, sometime after Dong-mae himself had been struck down by the other side of Musin Society, but had heard no rumors that he had ever been released.
Dong-mae isn’t a big tea person, and he’s certainly not a big Hui-seong person. But he stalks up to Hui-seong anyway, takes a seat across from him as flippantly as his battered body will allow, expects the look of surprise that comes his way.
Hui-seong pauses mid-sip, purses his lips. “Do I…know you?”
