Tomorrow is a Hope, Never a Promise

Summary:

Finally, after so much pain, so much misery, the Federation finally collapsed once the members of Quesadilla Island mounted an unified assault and led the charge to protect themselves and forever keep their adopted children safe. That day, the promise was kept that no parent would ever bury their child again.

But it cost everyone everything.

The island became a graveyard, and there was no way off with the train destroyed, and so the eggs remained trapped.

They grew on Quesadilla Island and they built their safe haven from the ruins of the Federation. There, they made due with what they could.

They survived.

They promised they would survive for those that gave all for them.

Until she disappeared.

Until the nights started to get quieter.

Until the snarls of the bear grew too close.

Until death finally found them too.

Where to start?

 

I will not be abandoning this project as I actually do like this concept I found and very much wish to leave this mark as my first of hopefully many stories, even some day my own original stories.

But I will not have that monster part of MY work. I now won't be able to tell the whole story as I hoped I would be able to, and instead will need to edit a bit of the few parts he was in.

Or, more likely, I may essentially need to instead provide this short story into only a couple of chapters, or only one long chapter as I feared I might have to when this story first came to me.

I truly don't have the words to fully express my condolences to Shubble, but support her, anyone who comes across this note, please support her and do not interact with Wilbur, life will serve proper justice very quickly and very nicely, so all our attention and love and prayers should go to Shubble and to her well being for her bravery during this horrible time.

If you are unsure as to what is going on and what I am talking about, visit Shubble's twitter and see what she said in her last twitch VOD and investigate this matter, and stay safe doing so, this may trigger some and like me, it may break your heart hearing what happened. Again, support Shubble always and do not give that disgusting man any more support.

 

As for this story and my delay in getting out in the first place, I am very sorry it even took so long after the prologue, but I reawoke that spark recently and have been rewriting the material and taking a lot of critique to heart to better my work for you.

I still absolutely love this little story as it inspired me to come back to my long forgotten hobby after years, so hopefully I can finish this and have this out again in a proper setting and soon too!

For now, I'll return to my work and continue progressing diligently and will come back soon with this story finally redone.

Chapter 3: Welp. Buckle up.

So.

Given the newest big thing on the QSMP being the eggs and their admins leaving for a myriad of reasons some of us may know, and reasons some of us may never know, (which is absolutely okay by the by), I genuinely do not know if this story will be continued as that motivation keeps getting snuffed out over and over from...everything really.

From the issues behind the scenes, to the legality issues from people and other CC's now being placed in very negative lights from their own actions or their own communities. To even the community of this project (QSMP) all leaving to other things for so. many. reasons.

I really don't know at the moment if this story I wanted to put out into this community will be finished or if I want to finish it anymore. That may be up in the air for a while and that breaks my heart.

Now, I didn't come back to only speak negatively on this entire ordeal; I did want to give an honest and loving farewell to these people who gave their all behind the scenes and in the spotlight alongside these big names, to give us characters that we fell in love with, cried to sleep over, and even yelled at our screens in outrage or joy. These people are some of the heart and soul that made that project as big as it got to be, and I do have hopes for the team that takes over afterwards. To those leaving, you will be all missed and loved very dearly, and a wish of good luck to your own future endeavours.

 

As for this story.

It's been in an eternal purgatory over and over just getting finished, but again, I do not know how this will go without the same spark I had when I managed to get nearly finished the first time before everything happened. And I don't want to be begrudgingly writing this instead of giving it my all like I did, that would offend even me at that point.

So once again, I'll return to the WIP and see how this goes, crossing my fingers this can be done well and hopefully be put out here, but if I can't, I'll let you all know what happens from here on out.
