Work Text:
For the past two hours, Alastor has been sitting in the corner of the room half-hidden in shadow. No one knows what he’s doing and everyone is too scared to ask.
Well, almost everyone.
“Hey Smiles! Whatcha up to?” Angel saunters over to Alastor, trying to get a peek at whatever he’s holding.
Alastor seems to be incredibly protective over whatever it is because it’s completely hidden in shadow with no way to see what it is. “Sorry, my dear, no peeking.”
Angel rolls his eyes and goes to sit on the couch. He is all set to just sit peacefully on his phone but the fact that he can feel eyes on him every so often makes it harder to concentrate on the mind-numbing social media. He looks up to see Alastor looking at him. Angel raises an eyebrow but Alastor just smiles more and looks down. And then back up at Angel. And then back down. Repeatedly.
Angel can’t figure out what in the literal Hell he’s doing but decides to give up on asking, knowing he’s not going to get a straight answer. Unfortunately, the chills that go up his spine every time the Radio Demon looks at him don’t go away. He keeps running a hand through his hair anxiously and fidgeting with his skirt until finally, Alastor dissolves into the shadows.
Angel is more than a little confused for a few hours until he returns to his room later that night. He spots a piece of paper on his bed and walks cautiously over to it.
To his surprise, it is a very detailed and very pretty drawing of him. It’s drawn in such a way that Angel can only think to describe as loving. He stares at it for what seems like forever.
Alastor wasn’t sure how Angel would respond to the drawing but was very pleasantly surprised to find it pasted to Angel’s mirror when he visited his room one day. When Alastor asked about it, Angel blushed and said, “I wanted to be able to look at it every day.”
