    Velvette rolled her eyes, fed up with the stupidity. “You're old, not deaf. Fix this freak! Make this guy look presentable!” Her explanation only made him turn his head and frown in her direction, confused. She continued anyway: “I need a good shot for our blog! All the others came out... Well, see for yourself.”

    She didn't wait for the other V to respond. She simply stretched out her hand and shoved the phone right in Vox's face, treating the Radio Demon like an irrelevant shadow. Vox didn't need to look for more than two seconds to see that all the photos—from the celebration parade earlier to the fight—had turned out awful.

    Alastor was a deformed, glitched-out mess in half the photos, and when he wasn't, he was... Making such an ugly face that Vox let out a stifled laugh. He raised his free hand to his mouth, trying to hold it in, but the urge was clearly winning.
