Summary
Millie Routeledge and her older brother, Jay Routeledge, have found themselves in the ultimate rock bottom of their lives. Millie is a recent college graduate whose newfound desk job has made life mudane and challenging. Jay is a newly divorced bachelor riddled with dismay at his failed marriage. Both siblings are left to rockily coexist in their family home with their parents while navigating this bleak reality. That is, until the passing of their grandfather presents them with the offer of taking on their family farm. In an attempt to not only escape reality but to also make their grandfather proud, they take on the challenge and move to the valley. The siblings must now learn to mend their estranged relationship while restoring the farm and town to its former glory. In the midst of it all, Millie manages to catch the attention of Pelican Town's brooding programmer, Sebastian. Meanwhile, Jay narrowly navigates the single life and is wary of his ability to find love in a valley of eligible bachelorettes. There's much growing for the siblings to accomplish both internally and also in the soil.
