Work Text:
Lila scrunched her nose, which looked a lot like Severus’. “Bleh. I don’t like that one.”
Marlene laughed. “Was it sour?” She grabbed one of the jelly beans and popped it into her mouth.
“Yeah.”
“Try another one.”
Lila grabbed a brown jelly bean and bit into it. “Tastes like Dad’s morning coffee.”
“Is it better than the previous one?”
Lila nodded.
Marlene enjoyed babysitting Lila. She was a smart child, like her parents, and entertaining.
“Aunt Marls, can we go flying?”
“What did your dads say about that?"
“Not until I’m ten, but it’s not fair; Draco and Harry fly all the time.” She grumbled.
“That’s because they are two years older, and their parents have different rules from yours.”
“Fine.” She pouted, looking a lot like Sirius when he didn’t get what he wanted.
Marlene laughed. Lila was such a cute little girl. “I promise to teach you when you’re ten.”
“Promise?”
“Promise.”
