Tying the tie on the manikin that held the rest of the outfit was handmade by Marinette. Everything was perfect for the small event that was going to happen. Hoping she had made enough stuff to make back the money—hopefully more—from what she rented the stand. Maybe I went too far with getting one of the big stands, Marinette thought to herself thanking the other people from the other stand next to her again for helping bring her stuff out. People should start coming over soon and it was exciting and nerve racking at the same time.
The sound of someone else coming to her stand made her turn around. No one has announced that the stands will be opened yet so she was confused. But before her stood Chole, her girlfriend.
"You were able to make it!" Marinette said giving her a quick hug and going back to quickly putting on the jewelry for display so she could give her full attention to the girl in front of her.
Of course I did. Why wouldn't I? Chole said, laughing and moving her braided hair to the side. There might have been a lot of things that have changed about Chole but the manner in which she speaks and her body language was not one of them. "Need any help setting up?"
"No I got it all covered you can just sit here with me. Unless you wanted to look around at the other booths if you do be my guest." Marinette said waving off her girlfriend as she spoke while putting the jewlary on display. "Go have some fun."
"Well when you out it that way might as well." Chole said giving her kiss on the cheek. "I will be back before you know it." Marinette smiled at her one last time as Chole walked off to have fun shopping around the booths. Again some things never change with people.
God little Marinette would be so happy and proud that she gets this opportunity. She would also have the fucking shock of her life that she was nice to let alone dating Chole. The combination of the 2 would have probably killed her past self.
But sometimes things change and there good.
"And the town shopping is officially opened!"
Then there are others that a better left the same. Marinette smiled and started talking to people as they came in. True to her word Chole came back an half an hour later showing Marinette all the things she had gotten her hands on for herself and Marinette.
Some of their friends came around to be supportive of Marinettes efforts. Smiling and Laughing with her friends, girlfriend and the customers that came around Marinette felt whole in a way that hs=he had never felt before.
