Anyways, I've always thought Yasmine had Big Boi Closet Lesbian vibes (as you're probably well aware if you've read like. Any of my fic XD). But the one thing that doesn't quite add up is why she'd be so steadfastly determined to stay in the closet? Like Moon dated a girl and it didn't hurt her popularity or social status at all! BUT one (or both!) of Yasmine's parents being homophobic and pressuring her to get a boyfriend could explain it.
I think that's why Yas yeeted all the way back to Cali for the prom, but left for the tournament. (Like. Why not stay for your boyfriend's Big Important Sports Tournament if you're already back home??? A sports tournament that he arguably cares about way more than an overrated school dance???)
