    Before Joseph could conjure up any other coherent thought, there was a knock at his door. He froze, his fingers still hovering over his keyboard. He waited for a minute before there was a second knock, proving that he wasn’t just hearing things. Joseph slowly made his way over to his front door, hesitating as he moved his eye closer to the peep hole. Even through a fish eye lens, he could still clearly make out the pale yellow locks of hair and the distinct purple face markings.

     

    The man he had been keeping away from since freshman year.
