lucerys velaryon washed up on the shore of storm's end. he's mangled, practically torn apart. but he's alive.

his uncles do not make king's landing an agreeable place for luke, even while he's practically bedridden, unable to walk. worse still, alicent blatantly foists a little spy on him - the sister of jason and tyland lannister - hoping to pick up tidbits about his mother. she's kind; she tends his wounds with a gentleness the maesters lack, but he refuses to allow himself to trust her. even as it becomes apparent he is not the only forced into this.
