Mario was sleeping in his bunk bed peacefully, dreaming about spaghetti and how much he loved it. He was loving his dream very much… BANG, BANG !!! Mario was suddenly awoken by the sound of the front door being banged on, he tried to ignore it and go back to sleep… BANG, BANG !!! The noise came again.
Mario groaned, “F*ck.” He muttered as he got out of bed, he then went to open the front door, but before he could even get the chance, the door was knocked down, it was Smg4, “What the, Smg4!?” Mario shouted, “What the hell are you doing!?” He shouted, Smg4 quickly grabbed his arm, “No time to explain right now, come with me, I messed up.” Smg4 replied, dragging Mario off.

After a bit, they arrived at the castle, Smg4 flung Mario in, as Mario got his bearings together, he saw everyone else huddled together, “Uh, what’s going on?” He asked, “We don’t know, Smg4 just told us to wait here.” Smg3 responded, “It better be good, it was rocking out.” Saiko chimed in, that’s when Smg4 came running in.
“Alright dude, you got us all together, what problem did you cause this time?” Smg3 asked, Smg4 sighed a few times, but then answered, “Alright so, I was just walking down the street when I came across this guy, we got into a bit of a fight and it turns out, he has a basketball team and challenged to me to a tournament and I accepted without hesitation and now I can’t back out.” Smg4 explained.
Everyone just looked at him with just…why. “And I thought Mario was stupid.” Bob muttered, “Hey!” Mario shouted, “So, you challenge this guy cause he basically looked at you funny, am I correct?” Meggy asked, Smg4 nodded, Meggy facepalmed, “Goddammit bro.” She muttered.
“Yeah yeah, but trust me, I think we can win this.” Smg4 told them, “Dude, he runs a professional basketball team, how are we gonna stand a chance exactly?” Saiko asked, “Oh come on, you guys got what it takes.” Smg4 said, he then looked at Mario, “Ok, some of you, but with some good old practice, we can stand a chance.” Smg4 told them, the gang looked at each other then at him.
“Fine, when’s this game?” Meggy asked him, Smg4 just gave a blank face then started sweating, “Smg4.” Meggy demanded an answer, “Ok, so it might be tomorrow.” He finally muttered, “TOMORROW!!?” Everyone shouted, Smg3 came over and grabbed Smg4, “You idiot, there’s no way we can be professional in just a day!!” Smg3 shouted, “I know, I know, but we got one advantage.” Smg4 told them.
“What would that be exactly?” Bob asked, “The power of training montage since we’re the lead characters.” Smg4 said, “Bro, that ain’t gonna work!!” Smg3 shouted back, “Well, you got a better idea?” Smg4 asked, which promptly shut Smg3 up, “That’s what I thought, begin!” Smg4 said.
(Cool montage of them failing like complete idiots, but oh well.)

It was the next day, the team was at the basketball game, Smg4’s team consisted of Mario, Luigi, Meggy, Saiko, Bob, Bowser and himself, “So uh, why am I here exactly, he just told me to be here?” Bowser whispered to Mario, “It’s a long story, just try to win.” Mario responded, and soon the game was ready to begin.
Smg4 and the leader looked at each other as Jeeves came out with the ball, “Heh, good luck and try not to break a leg.” The leader said, “Oh, I won’t.” Smg4 responded, “Alright, let the game…BEGIN!!” He shouted and threw the ball into the air, once it bounced back down, the leader quickly took the ball and started his offense, Smg4 tried to stop him, but it was no use, he was easily bulldozed.
“BOB, STOP HIM!!” Smg4 shouted, Bob wasted no time, he quickly jumped in front of the leader and held his swords out, “Listen buddy, we can do this the easy way, or hard way.” Bob muttered, “Alright, hard way.” The leader responded, he then jumped on Bob’s head and flew into the air and managed to score the first point of the game.
“Bob, what the hell was that!?” Smg4 shouted coming over, “I’ll be honest…I kind of zoned out.” Bob responded, Smg4 then leaned in close to him, “If you keep this up, I’ll make sure you’ll never be in another one of these stories again.” He threatened, Bob looked on with terror, “I’ll do better.” He muttered, “Good.” Smg4 said and he ran off.
With that, the game continued on, Smg4’s team managed to get some scores too mostly from Meggy, Saiko and to a certain extent, Bowser, but even with them managing to score victories, the other team was still going strong, getting goals themselves, finally, it was the end of the game, the teams were tied, one more score would decide the game.
Smg4 huddled his team together, “Alright guys, we got this, get the ball and run like hillbillies.” He told them, “Pff, that’s just a Tuesday for me.” Bob said, meanwhile, the other team was huddled together, “Alright fellas, you know what to do.” The leader told them, now, it was time to finish this, Smg4 and the leader came to the middle and Jeeves threw the ball into the air.
This time, Smg4 knew what to do, he quickly swiped it and it went to Saiko, “Alright Saiko, go, go!!” Smg4 shouted, “STOP HER!!” The leader shouted to his men, Saiko started running with the ball, the other team tried to get in her way, but she managed to outrun them, except for one, when she found herself blocked she quickly passed it off to Luigi who ran around the field screaming like a baby.
he then pasted it off to Bowser who scanned his surroundings and saw Meggy was wide open and he past it to her, Meggy then made a mad dash for the goal, but she is quickly stopped, there was no one else who she could past it to except Mario who sat by the goal picking his nose, the other team didn’t take him seriously, but Meggy saw her chance, “RED, CATCH!!” She yelled and chucked the ball at him.
“Oh, Mario got it, Mario…” As he said this, he got hit in the head, the ball bounced off and spun around the ring, everyone watched on, finally…the ball went in, Smg4’s team won, “WHAT, IMPOSSIBLE!!” The leader shouted, “Haha, get a rekt scrub.” Bob laughed, the team then huddled together to cheer, “Good job red!” Meggy said, “Yay…” Mario muttered.
“So, what did we win?” Saiko asked Smg4, “This.” He said and he pulled out just one cookie, the crew just starred on, “Just…a cookie.” Meggy asked, “Yeah.” Smg4 said, starting to eat it, the gang just looked at each other bewilder, then they got angry, unifying together, they proceeded to beat Smg4 up, “AHHHH!!” He shouted.
