"Jensen’s eyes burn with exhaustion. His body is boiling hot. He turns over on his back with a groan, throwing off the thick duvet. He’s been sweating buckets under it, the sheet and his pillow are soaked, the duvet damp and heavy. A vague memory of fire slips away before he can grasp it, leaving only his heart beating painfully in his throat.
