Notes:

Hi all, so once upon a time I used to be part of the miraculous ladybug fandom but I lost interest in 2021. This is basically my way of slowly coming back and bare with me, this takes place before season 3 and I’m not all that caught up.

Chapter Text

As Marinette was lounging around having a picnic with her friends and classmates, she decided to walk home by herself thinking about what happened during heroes day and how this was her fault that she couldn’t stop Hawk moth or Scarlet moth from attacking everyone. As she headed back home, she was greeted by her parents warm smiles.

“Hi honey, did you enjoy your picnic?” Sabine asked as she saw Marinette come into the bakery.

“Yeah, yeah it was good.” Marinette smiled sadly as she trudged upstairs into her room.

“Mari, what’s wrong? You’re not your usual happy self.” Tom asked as his voice was dripping with concern.

“I don’t want to talk about it.” Marinette choked out as she was trying her best on not breaking down in tears.

“Okay, if you’re ready to talk we’re always here.” Sabine said as she and Tom went back downstairs in the bakery. As Tom and Sabine went back downstairs, Marinette sunk into her bed and sniffled silently as the tears rolled down her face which caused Tikki to come out of her backpack and console her.

“There, there it’s okay. Let it out, let yourself go tonight.” Tikki whispered softly as she was consoling Marinette as Marinette allowed herself to cry.
