   Summary

   I’ve felt the call of several different things. Run into people that serve them. The fire is one. The wolves are another. But the excruciating dragging out of the chase never appealed to me, nor did the empty silence of ashes after an inferno had passed. No, I found my home in that anger, that special kind of anger that comes with an adrenaline rush, warms your blood in your veins, that drives you forward, forward, forward, until you tear into the source of the rage and rip it to pieces.
   But I’m getting ahead of myself. I’d always been angry, but I didn’t always know what it felt like to give in to the rush of it. Not until the day the preacher stopped me on the street.
