Work Text:
A soft whisper woke her just before dawn.
“I have a gift for you, my Love.”
Celebrían smiled.
“What is it, dear?”
“Come.”
She followed them into the gardens and down to the large pond, where white lilies grew on the water. One was larger than the others, and Elrond led her to kneel beside it.
“It is beautiful,” she said, and Elrond smiled and bade her wait.
As the sun rose over the horizon, the blossom opened, and inside lay a baby girl, dressed in white.
“Her name is Arwen,” Elrond said softly and laid her into Celebrían’s arms.
