Summary
The Ottawa Centaurs’ plane disappears off the radar somewhere in the northern Canadian wilderness. No signs of engine failure, no mayday calls, one second it’s there and one second it’s not.
After a number of hours, the team’s families are briefed privately. They cannot find the plane, they don’t know where to start, and the plane is assumed to have crashed. The players assumed dead.
Maggie and Shane have to survive losing Ilya together, while another death in the family makes everything infinitely harder.
Ilya manages to survive the plane crashing with only minor injuries, but now he must assure his remaining team survives in the landmass of Northern Canada. He must find safety, safety which is not coming for them.
