Prelude:
Still nothing
Law frowns down at his phone, checking to see if he received anything from a certain red haired alpha, but nothing.
It's already been a week since Kid has fully healed from his injuries and left on some important business.
And yes, Law gets it since he promised his parents to live the normal life so Kid is most likely keeping him out of the loop on purpose. But the damn alpha could've still given him a sign or something.
The only reason he wasn't full on raging was because Penguin was still keeping in touch with Killer.
Sighing, Law pockets his phone as he tries to not think more about it and relax the last few minutes of his break.
Soon enough, it was time to get back into his shift and it seems he's gonna have his hands full as Bepo is already meeting him halfway down the hallway,
"We had someone come in so we're trying to squeeze them in. I hope you don't mind."
It's his job as a doctor to care for patients so he doesn't mind.
"Is it urgent?" Law asks and Bepo shakes his head,
"She didn't make it sound urgent but you'll find out soon enough. She's in room two already in her hospital gown."
Law nods, heading right into doctor mode as he knocks on the door before entering.
The curtains are still closed for privacy, Law making his way over to the file so he can read on what's going on,
"Hello, I'm Dr. Trafalgar, what are you here for today?" Law asks before he doesn't even get to see the files as he hears that voice...
None of the scenarios in his head could've prepared him for this. Nothing could've kept his heart from shattering...
For Law didn't even get the chance to comprehend what was fully happening as the woman opens up the curtains and looks directly at him...
The voice that he recognized from a certain voicemail left on Kid's phone...
The voice that spoke two words that threatened his entire world...
"I'm pregnant"
