Through rose-tinted glasses, you see the world
See all those couples fighting? No matter, they’ll make up soon
There are wars going on? Oh well, they just need to stop fighting
After all, love will always win.
Those rose-tinted glasses, the ones you love
They seem to make you happy, even if it’s a fake happiness
Because in your eyes, everything will work out
You don’t get it, do you?
Sometimes love doesn’t always win
Sometimes people die, and there’s nothing you can do to stop it
I do love you though; the way see the world,
So different from my view
Yet somehow similar
The people say
That we’re “Too different”
Or we “Shouldn’t be friends”
I don’t care though
I’ll protect you the same as always
That’s what it’s always been like
And always will
