Work Text:
“Here.” Said a gruff voice, a plate and cup of delicious-smelling coffee appearing beside you. “Figured this’ll help ya focus. Don’t have’ta worry about fueling yerself.”
“Now, I may not understand any of this flashy stuff, that’s more the professor’s area of expertise, but I’ll still be here to lend a hand. I can do dishes, clean up, whatever you need so you can stay focused.”
“Come, buddy, you can do it. Pave the way, put your back into it. Show us why, show us how. Look at where you came from, look at you now. Demons, devils, and freaky bird puppets. Amateurs can fucking suck it.”
Regardless of the fact that it was more distracting than anything else, Caprice’s song filled you with spark of inspiration! He did end up playing the viole for you, anyways. The perfect ambiance for your hard and arduous work.
“Uhh, this can’t be that hard, can it? Hmm, well, there’s nothing I can’t learn. I’m sure there’s a book on this in the library… oh, you have one? Perfect. Let me see.” Felix perked up, settling beside you on the floor with the book in hand. “We’ll have this done in a breeze. Don’t worry.”
“Wow, this looks a bit complicated. I’m sure Felix would understand better but, uhh, I believe in you! Yes, you got this. Cause, like, you’re pretty cool and all. Anyways, I can sit here, if you like. Keep you company.”
Although he wasn’t much for helping you work, he was great when you needed a break. Brewing up some tea and guiding you through mindfulness exercises. Always a steady rock during times of havoc.
