“Ta-dah!” Wei Wuxian placed multiple plates of food on the table.
“What’s this,” Feng Xin looked at him in disgust pointing at the weird-colored food.
Wei Wuxian’s arm wrapped around Xie Lian’s neck as he brought a couple more plates to the table, “We decided to cook together.”
Mu Qing looked at them in horror while Hua Cheng immediately got some of it on his plate. Jiang Cheng just sat there in disbelief that Wei Wuxian’s cooking could get even worse. Wei Wuxian hopped on a seat next to Lan Wangji and put some of the food in his bowl.
“Gege, this tastes amazing!” Hua Cheng stated. Lan Wangji just nodded along while the others just looked scared to try it.
Xie Lian didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, “You guys don’t have to eat if you don’t want to.”
Jiang Cheng scoffed, “Screw it.” He took the first bite for the three of them that haven’t tried it yet. After just a single bite, he had the ugliest expression on his face while he was crying. “What the fuck is this..”
Wei Wuxian burst out laughing. Jiang Cheng, on the other hand, was trying not to throw a punch at his face. Feng Xin and Mu Qing looked at each other simultaneously and decided to also take a bite even though it was quite risky. Mu Qing ended up running outside and puking it all up with Feng Xin tried to stomach it. He grabbed for the cup of tea that was prepared earlier trying to ease down all the pain he experienced from eating it. When Mu Qing came back in, hugging his stomach, Hua Cheng stared at him with a menacing smile. Mu Qing pointed his middle finger at Hua Cheng and he did the same back.
“I’m honest!” Xie Lian tried to stop them from pointing their middle fingers at each other, “You guys don’t have to finish the plate! I’ll just throw them away.” Xie Lian tried picking up some plates but Hua Cheng stopped him.
“Gege, no need, it tastes very delicious!”
Jiang Cheng, who genuinely looked like he was about to puke, rebuked that comment, “Throw it away, please..”
Wei Wuxian gasped dramatically, “Jiang Cheng! How could you! We worked so hard on the food!” Lan Wangji fed Wei Wuxian another spoonful of food. Feng Xin and Lan Wangji just stayed quiet as everyone else argued about the food. Feng Xin looked at Lan Wangji.
“How are you even able to eat any of this?”
“Anything made by Wei Wuxian can be eaten.”
Puqi Shrine was lively that whole day.
