“Well, well this is a very pleasant surprise!” Prapai grinned as he turned around to find Rain standing in his flower shop. Normally the sweet boy of Phayu’s would either text him or ask Sky to bring his order by.
“Would it be?” Rain laughed softly. His cheeks already flushed. He didn’t know if Prapai’s shop would even have what he wanted. It would surely be by chance, because how many shops would sell them here? It was a bouquet that was normally sold in Seoul. He licked his lips. “I mean it is White Day.”
“That’s true.” Prapai chuckled. His shop had been busy all day with various arrangements and simple cuts for those lucky ones reciprocating what had been given to them on Valentine’s. “What can I help you with? But for starters, your favorite black orchid to give Yu is already sold out.”
“Oh, that’s fine! That’s not what I was looking for today.” Rain stepped closer to the older man and pulled out his phone to show him what he was after. “Would you happen to have this?”
Prapai’s eyes lit up with joy, “You know what, Nong. I do have what you’re looking for.”
Rain nervously tucked the loose strand of hair behind his ear as he took a step back from their table. He was careful not to bite too much on his bottom lip because he didn’t want to reapply the lip gloss he’d chosen again . Everything looked really good with the plated dinner and the candles lit. They rarely ate on this balcony and Rain loved to treat it like a treat it was. Well, he hoped Phayu felt it too, especially with the way he’d prepared for tonight. The weather was lukewarm with a chance of a rain storm which would be perfect for later; making love under their skylight as the storm rages outside.
He didn’t have to look to know it was Ayan that was messaging him back. Rain had sent him a picture of himself in the Hass Idriss crepe and tulle one shoulder gown. The beautiful crisp white fabric looked amazing against his skin. He’d opted for minimal make up and of course he still had on his thin golden eternity ring collar.
You look sexy as hell! He better appreciate the details. Was the message that Ayan had sent making Rain grin; of course he knew that Phayu would appreciate every inch of him. The food would be a bonus from Phayu’s favorite restaurant.
To P’Aye: Hope your Phi is the same to you.
From P’Aye:
Oh, I promise you he is
.
To P’Aye:
Have a nice night
From P’Aye:
You too, Nong!
Rain felt the lovely buzzing in his veins as he got the notification about the front gate. He took one look around the table then realized he’d forgotten the wine that Prapai suggested for him to get downstairs. He put his phone in his nightstand before heading downstairs.
“Welcome home, P’Phayu!” Rain called out while hearing the front door open. He was too slow to get the wine because as he got to the first landing on their staircase there was Phayu at the bottom talking on his phone. Their gazes met and Phayu just stopped.
It felt like they were trapped in this moment for hours but then Phayu spoke, “Akk, let me call you back.” He took a step to his right and sat his phone on the table beneath the tv. His eyes never left Rain. He drank in shallow breathing as Rain waited patiently for what happened next.
“Stay still.” Phayu instructed as he slowly ascended the stairs. A wolfish grin spread across his lips. He reached out, trailing his curled index finger up Rain’s exposed thigh from the slit. Phayu didn’t miss the shiver from Rain even as he tried to stay still. He let his finger linger before joining Rain on the landing. Phayu happily used both hands to grip Rain up by the back of his thighs. Rain quickly wrapped an arm around his boyfriend’s neck while the other gripped his shoulder.
“What did I do for this pleasure?” Phayu asked as Rain settled in his hold.
“Just being yourself and that it’s White Day.” Rain smiled shyly.
“Oh.” Phayu chuckled as he started to carry his beautiful boy upstairs, “Then we should celebrate properly.”
The breeze was nice as the rain came down hard. Phayu was on the balcony sofa with his boy resting against his bare chest as he ate his carbonara with candied bacon. His hand gently combed through Rain’s icy blond hair. The dress was gone, replaced by Phayu’s v-neck he’d been wearing leaving Rain’s lovely legs on display. Though his thoughts shifted as he realized that near Rain’s foot was a bouquet.
“What’s that?” Phayu moved to rest his chin on the top of Rain’s head.
“What?” Rain tilted his head back to meet his eye.
“That?” Phayu pointed to the bouquet.
“Oh! Oh!” Rain perked up, setting his bowl on the table to their right before sitting up to grab it. He twisted around to show him the bouquet of four leaf clovers and babies breath that Prapai had made for him earlier today.
“It’s for you. Take one of them and make a wish then keep it in your pocket.” he explained, “If it doesn’t break then your wish will come true.”
Phayu’s gaze softened as he felt the warmth in his chest swell. He loved this beautiful man with all his heart and he doubted he could love another like this. “They’re lovely but I don’t need them to have my wishes come true. I have you.”
“Phayu.” Rain breathed out with a flush to his cheeks as he rarely called him by his name only.
Phayu reached up to curl his finger under Rain’s chin, guiding him into a tender kiss turned heated as Rain nipped his bottom lip.
“I love you too.” Rain whispered against his lips when they parted for air.
