Did Percy just wrestle a Magic Crocodile?

Summary:

Charlie managed to get himself into a circle that does some cool stuff-namely rescuing animals. It's his first mission; Help free the dragons that are currently very illegally being smuggled out of Romania. His friend mentioned that another guy who helps out time from time will be joining them, they've helped out for years!

So why is his little brother Percy here?

Chapter 1

Chapter Text

"Charlie!" Richard called

"Yeah what is it Dick?" Charlie calls back, chucking a bucket of dragon dung down the Shute

"You free tonight?" Dick asked

"Yeah why?" Charlie said

"We've got a job going on and I was wondering if you'd join?" Dick explained "So you in?"

"Sure!" Charlie said

"Cool, this'll be your first one won't it?"

"Yup!"

"I should probably mention though-we've got another guy joining us, he's not exactly a member per say but he has helped us out quite a few times over the years"

"Oh can't wait to meet him then" Charlie grins

Several hours later he finds himself waiting with Dick and the other for the 'mysterious other guy' to join them.

"Sorry about the wait" Dick says "He needs to come from abroad"

"Oh he lives outside the country?" Charlie asks

"England I think" Dick says

"Huh maybe I'll know him them?" Charlie says

"Wait and see mate" Dick tell him

There's sudden PoP and someone else has arrived.

"Percy!" Dick cheers

"Percy?!?!" CHarlie says flabberghasted "Wha-Huh? I'm confuzzled"

His little brother Percy was standing in front of him. Why the hell was he here?!?! Didn't he have duties at home?!?! His law abiding, ministry high up, smart, little brother helped illegally rescue dragons? And he'd apparently been doing so for YEARS?!!? 

"Oh Charlie?" Percy asks confused "What are you doing here?"

"Rescuing dragons" Charlie answers "You?"

"You didn't tell me Charlie was joining?" Percy questions Dick

"You guys now each other???" Dick says confused

"Dick" Charlie sighs "Percy is my little brother"

"Huh? Ooooohhhhh" Dick said "Huh you do look alike"

"You've known me for how many years Dick?" Charlie asks

"Not as many as I've known him" Dick gestures to Percy "How come no one told me?"

"We're both called Weasley, Dick" Percy says "Not a hard connection to make"

"Right well anyways...let's get going" Dick says

And they all follow suit. 

Chapter 2

"We are running on a tight schedule so I will give you a quick debrief as we walk" Percy begins "Any problems with that?"

"None" Charlie says, too busy still processing it to protest

"Okay so It's an auction, they are planning to sell the dragons to foreign buyers THEN proceed to smuggle them out, to save costs and efficiency" Percy explains "I've managed to forge us entry tickets, but we will entering in disguise-due to common sense- and then we will need to sneak behind the scenes, I've managed to procure a distraction so there will be less risk of discovery-but remember there is still a very HIGH risk of discovery" 

"Do I get a cool new name?" Dick asked

"No Dick" Percy sighs "Richard is fine for this" Dick pouts "But I will turn you blond for this"

"Yes!" Dick grinned "I love disguises"

"Charlie we're changing you into a woman-you are American, your name is Carly Smithson, you married a rich muggle tycoon but he died suspiciously 3 years later" Percy says "You have a single son, his name is Jack and he will be played by James behind you. The rest of you will be bodyguards and blend in with staff" Percy finishes "Any questions?"

"Why am I a woman?" Charlie asks " And Carly???"

"Carly is very similar to Charlie" Percy states "Meaning if you hear it you will respond to the same syllables naturally" Percy finishes as though it's the most natural thing in the world

"That's..." Charlie says "Surprisingly street-smart of you?"

"Well yes Charlie, I am more than just the intelligent 'prick' behind the loudness of our siblings" Percy points out

"I am beginning to realise that" Charlie agrees

"Now we've got 1 hour to get everyone ready and go through the plan detail for detail" Percy announces to the group "We'd best get to it"

1 hour later Charlie was a blonde woman in her late 30s with blue eyes and the slightest of wrinkles around her eyes. He had been forced into a tight-fighting dress which made him feel a bit uncomfortable. Now don't get him wrong, Charlie wasn't some weird alpha toxic male who was all 'DRESSES ARE FOR WOMEN! IF YOU WEAR A DRESS OR MAKE UP YOU'RE NOT A REAL MAN yadayada', but it did feel uncomfortable in the dress because Percy was observing and analysing how he looked in the dress to the finest detail.

"Turn around quickly" Percy asked and Charlie complied wordlessly, somewhere along this one hour he and Percy had slipped into a power dynamic that confused him as the older brother
"That's too tight" Percy notes and uses a quick adjustment spell "Okay there we go- everyone ready?"

Charlie watched his brother glance around the room. James was now strawberry blond and had blue eyes (very attractive aesthetically, if Charlie wasn't Aroace that might have been his type) and was dressed is a Blue casual dress shirt and Black trousers. Dick was Blond and Graying and VERY excited to act all grumpy and boomer. Percy had changed his hair to Brown and removed all his freckles, his eyes were grey and Charlie would not have recognised him had he not been told.

He was met with a chorus of 'Yes' 'Yeps' and a joking 'SIR YES SIR'. Percy really did run a tight ship. Everyone was very clear on the details of the plan or if not, had a buddy system set up so they could check.

"And just a reminder" Percy says, he points at Charlie "Carly" Then he points at James "Jack" then Dick "Richard" and finally at himself "Oliver"

"Oliver eh?"  James Snickers

"Quiet" Percy tells him off

Charlie raises an eyebrow "Am I missing something here?"

"Nope" Percy says

"Just a certain Weasley naming himself after his boyfriend" Dick teases

"Percy has a waht?" Charlie gasps

"Ooops" Dick winces "Was that not common knowledge?"

Charlie shakes his head "No. Not to me-but then again I don't see Percy a lot?"

"Holy shit did I just out you mate? I am so sorry" Dick starts trying to appologise

"Oh for merlin's sake" Percy sighs "Yes I am gay. Yes my boyfriend is called Oliver. We can deal with my coming out and all that questioning later- we have several dragons to save"

"But-" Charlie starts

"Save it for later big brother" Percy talks over him

"...Fine" Charlie agrees

No he is not salty that his friends knew before him. Also about the fact that Percy didn't tell him himself. Or maybe even want to tell him. Charlie was literally Aroace himself, and Bill was Bisexual, and Ginny was a fucking lesbian, and Fred was dating Lee Jordan, and Ron was bi with very strong female preference and Wait-Charlie should have seen this coming shouldn't he?
