Izuku gets kicked out by his abusive mother and attempts to find a shelter. He goes to a homeless shelter, that he isn't even let into before they turn him away because of his red shoes indicating his quirklessness. He finds a relatively dry alleyway but gets bitten by a mother cat protecting her kittens. He leaves the alley and stumbles upon another quirkless person. They offer him a job at their coffee shop, Underground Coffee, and a place to stay. He takes the offer and is shown around the shop a bit before passing out on his new bed.
