Chapter Text
Hello beautiful people! I'm very impressed you cracked my little code! Well done! A pat on the back for you! Now, you may call me the Inventor as I am the reason everyone has evolved to a new species of humanoid, of my own design of course. That's right, you aren't quite human anymore! At least not a regular, degular human the way you used to be. But not to worry, I'm pretty sure I've worked out all the issues! At least the ones that have come up since I started this little passion project of mine years and years ago. And, I still have my volunteers, yes volunteers, here with me in case I see anything going wrong. Oh yes, I'm still around, observing. You didn't think I would go through all this effort just to leave it all behind did you? But anyway. I have put together this little guide from my team's lab notes and my own personal observations to help you all feel a little more comfortable in your proverbial new skin. I do have to say up front that while there is a lot in here, it is not everything you need to know. More information will come later as it becomes relevant. Too much at one time isn't good for the brain, you know? So, without further ado.
Welcome, my dear ones, to the Age of the Omegaverse!
Back to the Basics
The very basic information necessary to now know is that everyone has a primary and a secondary sex designation. Primary is the one that is already familiar: male, female and those in-between (yes, they exist. Look it up you ninny! Bimodal vs binary is a good place to start. [this is probably a good clue for the tone of the rest of this so if you're mortally offended, please exit right away and wait for your government's sanitized version of this guide. Thank you!]). The new category is secondary sex and these are: Alpha, Beta, Omega, Zeta, and Theta. When talked about individually, they can be referred to as either designations or Dynamics, but when referring to two or more, Dynamics is the preferred term as it describes that there can be certain ways the designations play off each other based on their attributes. How they interplay with each other will come up later. You might even figure some of it out before I go into detail as I'm sure this guide will only be, but so timely.
I will also put a glossary at the end for new words because there will be quite a few, but I can't promise everything will be in there so take notes or something.
Now what is an Alpha, Beta, Omega, Zeta, and Theta? Good question! The biggest differences between all of these sexes is the anatomy and the instincts. Yes, homo vinculum now has innate instincts and not just reflexes and habits!
Btw, that's the species name I have picked out and seeing as I did all the work to get us here I think I've earned the right to name this evolution. If you don't humor me…well, I could always poison more people! Oh, was I subtle enough with that one? Hehe, yes, yes, your state leaders suddenly coming up ill wasn't a coincidence. Oh? Unless that was a secret? Cat's out of the bag now, I guess. I figured if society was going to be able to move forward at all, the old fogeys had to go. You're welcome! But if you get on my nerves…kidding! Unless… I'm rambling again. Vinculum means a unifying bond, link, or tie. So homo vinculum is essentially linked-humans or it represents the need for this evolution of humans to form tight-knit bonds with each other.
