So, another normal day in Gotham, huh?
This might sound crazy even for here, but I swear to god this happened last night. I still have the goddamn ice cream cup and broken nose to prove it! So, well, what happened was:
I was caught up in another one of Joker’s attacks yesterday (do not recommend, 0/10, super not feeling the whelmed) and he and the Bat began their usual back and forth, which took attention away from us, the hostages. Since my rope wasn’t really all that well tied, I used the distraction to free myself and begin working on everyone else’s so we could escape while the Bat was still fighting Joker.
Well, I do that, we begin to go to the exit, I help everyone out of the warehouse and, just as i’m about to also get out, Harley fucking Queen drops out of nowhere and punches me in the face! Like, straight up sucker punches my nose and makes me fall on the ground. She startled me and it kinda hurt a lot so I think I started crying? I’m not sure, but she then looks at me and starts apologizing and trying to calm me down.
Apparently she thought I was Robin??? Like, sure, I have black hair and darkish skin, but come on! And then when I fell and cried she realized I wasn’t and that the Bat just hadn’t brought Robin around this time so she felt bad for hitting me.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure if she’d go back on feeling bad, so I was just trying to tell her it was fine and to just turn a blind eye to me escaping as an apology, but she deemed that wasn’t enough and next thing I new she had thrown me over her shoulders and was taking me to the closest ice cream store. So yeah, Harley Queen bought me ice cream after breaking my nose and I’m still freaking out about it.
My dad is worried about me being mistaken for Robin again tho.
