“Gege, I’m back” Hua Cheng responds with what seems like confidence, though his smile wobbles slightly. He never planned this far ahead, never dreamed that he would come back, be wanted so desperately that he had to come back, having thought the giving of his life would be the pinnacle of his existence.
“SAN LANG!” Xie Lian wails suddenly, dropping the arms of the hand cart he’s been laboriously dragging up the mountain, with a loud bang that echoes around them and running towards the red clad ghost, his delicate face reddening as tears begin to stream from the corners of his eyes.
