Siuan stretched out on the picnic blanket, her fingers sketching patterns in the grass as the sun dipped low, casting a golden light across their secluded nook in the park. Nearby, empty plates and lunchboxes lay scattered beside a nearly empty wine bottle, signaling a splendidly spent afternoon. Siuan took a final sip from her glass, reclining on her elbows and gazing at the changing sky with a tipsy grin.
“Isn’t this just lovely?” Siuan sighed, her words lilting with the merry weight of her third glass. “Everything feels so... close.”
Moiraine chuckled, watching her wife’s languid posture. “The sky, or your glass to your mouth?”
Siuan let out a giggle, setting her glass down with theatrical care. “Maybe both. But mostly, I just feel close to you.” She moved closer, her hand brushing against Moiraine’s as she lay down, head in her wife’s lap. “The perfect spot,” she declared, looking up with a mischievous grin that suggested more than mere admiration for the sunset.
Moiraine smiled, affectionately stroking Siuan’s hair. “You’re utterly charming when you’re tipsy”
"And you, my love, are utterly bewitching," Siuan responded, her fingertips idly caressing Moiraine’s knee, venturing upwards with a hint of playful intent.
