Purchases

Summary:

In the aftermath of becoming rich, Fiddleford McGucket went on a wild spending spree, as many homeless people who suddenly become rich tend to do. This is a list of things that he bought in those first few weeks.

Notes:

"Tater-tot" as Fiddleford's nickname for Tate was borrowed from SharoScylla's epic One Sword. Technically without permission. If they have a problem with it, I'll edit it out.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Notes:

"Hey, Dad?" Tate spoke up as the sun was setting on a successful day of fishing.

"What's in your noggin, Tater-tot?"

"Are you feelin' lonely, sleeping in that big mansion by yourself?"

Fiddleford paused momentarily. "Maybe a little. Not as bad as before, now that I have friends again. But yeah, it can still be a little lonesome sometimes."

"Would you like me to move in?"

This is enough, Fiddleford thought to himself, as his heart swelled with affection. For now, this is all the luxury I need. "That would be a real nice thing, Tate."
