   Summary

   After Kuvira's attack on Republic City, Lin is searching the wreckage for anyone trapped or injured. While clearing a crumbling apartment complex, she find two young children trapped. She doesn't know how they survived as long as they did and she really doesn't know why the two children have become very attached to her. What she does know is that she needs to get them help from a doctor and a healer, and it just happens that Master Healer Kya is in town.

   With a complicated history, can Lin and Kya work together to help keep the two scared children safe and happy? Will old and new feelings resurface and complicate things?
