“Hey,” he called out. “do you want to try some ‘painting’?”
Sonic looked at him with a curious frown.
“Painting?”
Shadow walked towards the flowers and shoved his fingers into the center until his ungloved hand we’re covered with pink liquid.
“It’s something I heard from the village, that they paint each other with these colors. Showing their true beauty.”
Sonic felt his heartbeat quicken. He never thought of doing body painting before. But first time for everything right.
“Would you like to try?"
Sonic gave a soft smile.
“Arlight, let’s try it.”
