Work Text:
It was quieter than usual in the old house.
Nandor had just gone hunting for blood, and Guillermo was watching some show about pirates on his laptop. This would be the only time tonight which he got to himself before Nandor would come back and demand him to brush his hair again, or make him clean the blood out of his robes. He could hear Nadja and Laslo yelling at each other in the fancy room. They were probably discussing what couch they would do it on next.
Guillermo grabbed another hand of the chocolate covered espresso beans and stuffed them into his mouth. He had to be up at all hours to keep the vampires safe, however Nandor was too stubborn to let him come with him to go hunting.
He said he would be back in half an hour.
Guillermo checked the time and realized that the time had flown by. He had been too distracted with the show he completely forgot to keep track of the time, it was well over half an hour since Nandor had left.
He quickly got up and started imagining everything that could have happened to his master. He could have been abducted, he could have been harmed, he could have been murdered.
Guillermo wasn’t going to let that happen.
He started to panic and grabbed a few stakes as he ran towards the door. He stumbled over a few garden tools that were left out, then he looked around and saw nothing. He tried to calm down and think of where Nandor would go. With his eyes closed he took a deep breath and came to the conclusion that he would most likely be at the park. The vampires go there often to find victims, it is a good place to begin his search.
He started running toward the park area as fast as he was capable. But was stopped by a confused man.
It was Sean, he stared at him for a moment before he asked, “what are you doing out so late?”
He came to a stop and he was out of breath from the running and couldn’t keep his breathing under control from the stress.
“I'm looking for Nandor, have you seen him?” He kept looking towards the park, being annoyed that he had to put a stop to his search.
“Yes actually he walked by here a few hours ago and then after a while he came back, but he looked different, very joyful. He went to the park whilst skipping”
“Thank you so much” Guillermo was relieved to know he made the right assumption to go to the park. He gave Sean a quick pat on the arm before he started to run to the park again.
Behind him Sean said, “good luck finding your boyfriend”
What did he mean with that, they weren't boyfriends. It surprised him but he couldn't afford to make another stop to ask him.
When he arrived at the park he saw a man with a large cape sitting alone on a bench. He smiled to himself as he walked over towards him. He saw what Sean had mentioned, Nandor was acting strange.
He smiled when he saw Guillermo walking towards him, which was weird enough, but he was also holding a cat in his arms. Nandor usually isn’t the biggest fan of animals, only horses, but he was petting this cat and scratching its chin.
“Where have you been master?” Guillermo asked, still worried as to what happened.
“Here,” he still smiled at him.
“You said you would come back within half an hour,” he tried not to get angry, but he had been so worried.
“Did I?”
“Yes master,” he gritted his teeth.
What could have happened to make his master act so strange, he didn’t look hurt.
“Is everything alright? Did something happen?” Guillermo asked.
“Yes I only had a talk with this sweet lady, but nothing happened for the rest of the night”
“Okay that doesn’t sound strange at all,” Guillermo said sarcastically.
“I think we need to head back home this kitty is getting tired”
Guillermo had to drag him away from the cat, Nandor has always been adorable and weird but he was on another level tonight.
“Bye bye kitty”
Nandor turned towards him and gave him a sweet smile. Guillermo let go of Nandor’s arm that he was using to drag him away, but Nandor put his arm through his and put his head on his shoulder. You could say he panicked more than he did when he thought Nandor was in danger. Why on earth would he do this, to make a fool out of Guillermo. He should put a distance between them to prevent being made fun of, but he felt like he couldn’t let the moment go.
They walked all the way home in this state and Guillermo’s whole face was on fire.
Once they arrived at the spooky house Nandor still wouldn't let go of him, so Guillermo had to untangle their arms and take a step away before Nadja and Laslo could see them, and make fun of him.
The screams had turned into giggles and they were now almost sitting on each other's lap.
Guillermo has always been jealous of their relationship; they could always find joy in each other's presence. Even their bickering usually ended up being resolved fairly quickly.
He hoped he could find someone one day, instead he took care of these monsters that showed nearly no affection towards his hard working ass. But right now he should put his thoughts away again so he could focus on the problem at hand.
“O hey Nandor you’re back,” Nadja said, not actually paying attention to busy looking seductively at her husband.
Nandor didn’t seem to hear her; he was staring fondly at Guillermo instead. It was strange to have his attention for this long in one night. He had to do something about it. Nandor couldn’t be in his right mind.
“Nadja, Laslo, I think something happened to Nandor while he was gone, he has been acting really strange”
“I am sure it is nothing Gizmo,” Laslo did not even look in his direction.
Then something happened that made all of them gasp, Nandor started hugging Guilermo. He pulled him close and put his chin on top of his head.
“Believe me now” Guilermo’s voice was muffled by Nandor’s chest. He had never been allowed to be this close to Nandor, he could smell his familiar scent. The hug felt so comforting but he knew that it couldn’t be real.
“Well fuck,” Laslo exclaimed.
“He must be enchanted, why else would he do that,” Nadja said.
The words stung; he knew there was something wrong, but it being so obvious that Nandor wouldn't show him affection unless something was wrong made him feel hurt. Maybe he should’t do anything and hope that this will be how he will act towards him forever. He could even make him a vampire in this state, but he couldn’t do that to him.
“What do we do?”
“Well, have you tried asking him?”
“Yes, he said something about talking to this lady, and he was sitting in the park with a black cat in his lap” Guillermo had to step out of the hug to talk and look at Nadja and Laslo properly.
“That must be a stupid witch,” Nadja grunts.
Guillermo looked into Nandor’s face but he was only smiling at him until he spoke directly to him.
“Master, where was this lady?” He asked quietly.
Nandor hadn’t uttered a word since they arrived, but now that Guillermo spoke to him he instantly replied.
“She was in front of the house, then she did something and told me to meet the cat in the park and wait”
“Okay but do you know what she did?” Laslo asked.
Nandor turned towards him slowly, his sweet expression changing to a somber one.
“No”
Just when everyone was holding their head in their hands someone walked in who made it all seem even more hopeless.
“Hey guys, what are y'all up to?” Colin Robinson asked in his annoying voice.
He took in the sight of the room and knew something must be going on. Knowing it would be difficult to drain them of their energy if something interesting was happening.
He was also absolutely not in the mood to help them and intended to make his way back to the basement. But unfortunately for him Laslo made him stay a moment longer.
“Colin, do you perhaps know anything about love spells?”
Now that might be an opportunity for him to have some dinner. He smiled and started explaining the origin of love spells in way too much detail.
Whilst Colin drained the energy of the others Guillermo was too distracted with his own thoughts to listen.
Nandor was spelled to be in love with him. How did Nadja come to that conclusion? Would Nandor act this way if he really was in love with him?
“Yes yes, but why would anyone do it to Nandor?” Nadja asked, irritated.
“Well most love spells are cast by someone who is already in love with the victim to make them love them back, but seeing as it is Nandor that has been bewitched it is more likely out of revenge”
Nandor did not even turn his head at the insult, still staring lovestruck at Guillermo.
“Guillermo you didn’t put the spell on Nandor did you?” Laslo asked.
“What no, why would I do that,” Guillermo couldn’t believe that he would even make that assumption.
Colin, who has fed himself plenty of the awkwardness in the room, returned to his room to make some tweets about alpha males, as a dessert.
“So someone wants to get revenge on Nandor by making him fall in love, that doesn’t sound strange” Nadja starts
“But why with Guillermo,” Laslo finishes.
“Exactly”
Guillermo, who is starting to feel overwhelmed with all the attention on him, wants to get going and find out how to stop the spell.
“Guys, we should find the witch and get rid of the spell,” Guillermo said.
Nadja whispered: “bloody witches,” whilst everyone was getting ready to go outside.
“Not so fast Gizmo, since when do you decide what happens in this household?” Laslo said as a joke whilst grabbing his coat.
Only Nandor clearly didn’t get the joke as he started to walk over to him with his shoulders squire and an angry expression on his face.
Guillermo catches on quickly and pulls him away from Laslo. He turns him towards the door and with the threat against Guillermo gone he returns to his giddy enchanted self.
It would be wonderful if this could last forever. Guillermo had never allowed himself to picture a future with Nandor, as it would end up hurting too much knowing it could never be real. With this clear display of affection it was difficult to remember that.
Nandor intertwined their hands and he wasn’t sure if he should let go or not. It did feel reassuring and he needed that right now so he held on just like he would hold on to this moment in time.
Once they were all outside they were interrupted by their neighbor Sean once more this evening. As Laslo was supposed to be his best friend, he thought he ought to handle this.
“Good evening Seanieeee!!, he said excitedly.
Laslo deeply cared for Sean and he would be lying if he said he didn’t feel anything for the man. But after Nadja explained to him again that not everyone is bisexual he has been trying to see him as just a friend.
“Hey Lazz, whatcha doing out here again,” He had a beer in his hand and it was noticeable in the way he spoke that he had had more than one that night.
“Nothing, we are doing nothing and you are going back inside,” Laslo was swirling his arms around whilst hypnotizing Sean as it was the safest for the human
He has done it countless times and he never felt bad because he knew it was for the best. He did however wonder how Sean would react if he were to find out that they were vampires in his right mind.
Guillermo saw Sean look back at him and Nandor who was still holding his hand. At this state there really was no way to convince him that they were not together. Although he did wonder what made him believe they were together in the first place.
Nandor had never shown any physical affection towards him before. He never even gave him a hug.
The group moved on from the street and were standing at the entry of the park. It was the place where Nandor was enchanted so the witch must still be close.
Nadja looked at Guillermo and saw him look away from Nandor, still holding his hand. She knew that he was into him, why else would he still be here. It was sort of pitiful but Nandor wasn’t exactly not not into him. But as a vampire it was difficult for him to show his emotions, especially towards a human. She has thought about talking about it to him many times, but she wasn’t a feelings person either.
Guillermo has made her a bit soft after all that he has done for them, but she will never admit it.
After having searched the whole park they finally find a sign of the witch. There is a goat standing next to the lake. The witches would never leave without their goats, but the strange thing about this scenario is that there is only one witch.
Usually they come in groups as it is safer for them.
“Guys why would there only be one witch, don’t they always go out in groups?” Guillermo asked.
“The witch probably has something going on with Nandor and is too embarrassed to tell the other stupid witches,” Nadja says.
“Gizmo, has Nandor stopped giving his semen to the witches?” Laslo asked.
“No, that can’t be the problem,” Guillermo looks flustered. He knows all too well that the seed production is still going. He is the one that has to make the embarrassing journey with a box full of jars filled with it.
They go on with their search and find the witch standing next to a lantern in the park. It is the only lantern in the park that is not lit, and she is standing in the corner of the park so she doesn’t look noticeable. But with the nightvision of the vampires she is easy to find.
“Ahh you have found me at last,” the witch says with a raspy voice. She has long gray hair and a wrinkled body. She looks just like one of the witches they met on their adventure a while ago.
Guillermo felt the need to act as the bodyguard he is, and stepped in front of the vampires. In the process he let go of Nandor’s hand, who missed the contact of their hands according to his sad expression. The witch however smiles at Guillermo as he protects the rest of the group.
“Why did you put a spell on him,” Guillermo demands, pointing at Nandor.
“I won’t tell you it is necessarily that you find out how to undo it on your own. I also think that you are the only one who can fix it, so I advise you to get to it”
Nadja who couldn’t contain her hatred for the witch any longer tries to slip past Guillermo to attack the witch. The witch is not surprised and simply disappears into thin air.
“Great now we can’t get anymore information out of her,” whilst putting his arms over each other Guillermo huffs to show his annoyance.
Usually he holds back his emotions towards the vampire, but today he can’t hold back and let anything potentially dangerous happen to his master.
“Right, so Gizmo has to break the love spell somehow,” Laslo asked, trying to get them back on track.
“Maybe she wants him to kill Nandor, seeing as he is a vampire killer she could have put the spell on him to make it easier,” Nadja says but it doesn’t sound like she believes in it herself.
“Why would she need me to kill him? She can easily do it herself”
The three of them stood there discussing the possibilities for a while. Nadja suggested that Guillermo had done something to offend the witch and Laslo implied that Nandor had set the witch up and was pretending all along to prank them.
None of them noticed that Nandor made some weird movements and only acknowledged him when he spoke.
“Guillermo you look so good”
Guillermo turned around to face Nandor with a terrified expression on his face.
“What did you just say?”
Out of nowhere the witch returns, scaring everyone.
“I see he has started the second phase of the enchantment”
“What are you talking about, what is the second phase?” Guillermo asks.
“Haven’t you figured it out by now,” the witch snickered.
Guillermo looked at Nandor, recalling what he had just said to him. Why did everything have to be this awkward tonight? Why couldn’t he have been enchanted to want to kill Guillermo, that would have been easier.
“Is the second phase, giving compliments?”
The witch slammed her hand to her forehead, “The second phase entails that the person who is enchanted starts using words of affection”
That made more sense than it being, giving compliments.
Both of those were strange to hear from Nandor’s mouth.
Will he start giving him more compliments and even say other nice things? Would he say that he was in love with Guillermo? It wasn’t fair how he was getting everything he ever dreamed of whilst knowing it was fake.
He also wondered, if there was a phase called the second phase could there be more. The first phase consisted of small touches and sweet smiles. What would happen if they couldn't find a way to get rid of the spell before Nandor started the third phase.
“I will let you figure out the rest, goodbye,” The witch turned away and disappeared into nothing again.
The group stood still for a moment trying to figure out if the new information could help them stop the curse.
“I think it would be best if we went back to the house since it will be dawn soon,” Nadja suggests.
No one talks on the way home because all of them have too much on their mind. Guillermo can’t get his head around the fact that Nandor is enchanted to be in love with him. Whilst he walks towards the house in the familiar route Nandor walks close next to him.
He is trying to come up with sweet words to say to Guillermo who doesn’t seem thrilled with his compliment from before.
Nadja suspects that she knows why the witch has put the spell on Nandor, but she can’t just say it to Guillermo; she needs to discuss it first.
Laslo honestly has no idea what is going on. All he wishes is for it to pass soon so that he can get back to writing songs about his darling wife.
Guillermo leaves the group without saying a word and sits on his bed in the small space he has for himself. He hears Nandor’s footsteps that are easily recognizable because of the humongous boots he wears. Guillermo lays down on his bed, his back facing in Nandor’s direction.
“You have a really pretty smile”
Guillermo grabs a pillow and puts it over his ear. Not that it is actually blocking out any noise.
“Did I say something wrong?’ Nandor says with a small voice.
The innocence of the question hits him and he realizes that it isn’t Nandor’s fault he makes him feel so desperate for it to be real. It’s not fair that he has to go though this because of some bitch witch. But Nandor didn't ask for it either and so he has to be nice to him.
“No I’m sorry I’m just tired”
It wasn’t a lie because he was quite exhausted from doing all the chores and the panic of when Nandor had gone missing. He could use a good eight hours of sleep right now. He put the pillow under his head and let his body relax.
“You can sleep, I bet you look cute when you do”
It felt strange to fall asleep under Nandor’s watch but he was way too tired to entertain him until they found a way to reverse the spell. He had barely slept this week so it was impossible to stay awake.
Meanwhile Nadja was ready to tell Laslo her ideas of why the witch had enchanted Nandor. It was something quite obvious if you know what Nandor and Guillermo’s relationship really looks like
From the outside you would think Nandor was a harsh master, but she knew better
Nandor adores Guillermo and wants to treat him better. The only problem is that his ego is too big. And judging by the way Guillermo looks at him and the reason why he is still here, after over a decade of serving Nandor. He must feel something for the stupid donkey as well.
“So you think you have figured out why the witch did what she did?”
“Yes I think she has notices something about Nandor and Guillermo”
“And what is that something, my darling”
Nadja smiled at the funny way her husband speaks. Then her attention turns back to the conversation.
“I think she knows that they have some weird relationship and wants to interfere”
“Yeah I think it is time for them to finally get together, maybe then Gizmo will stop complaining so much,” He says with a laugh.
“So you agree that that is the reason?”
“Yeah it makes sense, although couldn’t she just have told them, it is a bit extreme”
“Those stupid witches love being extreme”
Laslo shrugged in agreement.
There was a pause in which both of them were thinking about if it would be a good idea to tell Guillermo. Telling Nandor wouldn’t matter since he is still under the spell and will probably ignore anything they say. Unless it is an insult towards Guillermo, then he will hear them and possibly hurt them as well.
Seeing Nandor act so fondly towards Guillermo was strange to them, but he has always liked him more than most people so it must be right.
“Should we tell him?”
“Yes probably”
They both weren’t into the touchy feelings stuff. Only towards each other of course. So they weren’t looking forward to telling Guillermo the truth.
It would reveal that they did have a heart.
They walked arm in arm with each other towards Guillermo’s little room to tell him the news. They both wore neutral expressions on their faces as a way to not feel any more vulnerable than they already did.
Guillermo was still sleeping when they came in and Nandor was still watching him sleep.
“Uhum,” Nadja cleared her throat to try and wake Guillermo up.
It didn’t work and Nandor didn’t react to their arrival so they had to wake Guillermo more forcefully.
Nadja huffed in annoyance then she stood over Guillermo and shook him awake using her telekinesis.
Guillermo immediately sat up thinking he was in danger.
Nandor reacted and reassured him that he was safe.
Nadja nudged Laslo to make him start this embarrassing conversation.
“We think we know why the witch cursed Nandor”
Guillermo put his glasses on, he wasn’t sure if he was awake or if he was still dreaming. He did however turn towards Laslo with an excited expression. Eager to know what their theory is as to why Nandor was in love with him.
Laslo urged Nadja to say the rest and the huffed out a breath of air before she said, “Guillermo we think that the witch knows that you and Nandor like each other and wants to push you to declare your love or something”
She didn’t look at Guillermo when she said it but judging by the noise he made it was certain he didn’t take it seriously.
Guillermo burst out laughing after Nadja claimed that Nandor was into him.
“Ha, do you seriously think that he likes me, ha!”
“Yes Gizmo so will you find a way to stop the curse, we have better things to do,” Laslo grabbed Nadja by the arm and dragged her away. He was angry enough about that they had to be the ones to fix their mess, but now he didn’t even believe them. How ridiculous.
“Dear let them be, maybe they will figure it out,” Laslo reassured Nadja.
Meanwhile Guillermo had stopped laughing because if it was a joke Laslo wouldn’t have stormed out that way. Were they being honest? Did they truly think that Nandor liked him? And how did they know that Guillermo liked Nandor? It was obvious that Nandor wasn’t going to turn him into a vampire anytime soon, so why else would he stay.
He liked taking care of his master, but did it really show that much?
He thought about what Laslo said about finding a way to end the curse. If the curse was done to make both of them realize they were into each other, he still didn’t fully believe that Nandor could feel that way for him.
But what could break the curse if that was the true reason?
Nandor moved from the chair he was sitting on to watch Guillermo sleep, to sit next to him on the bed.
“Guillermo what is wrong? you look angry,” Nandor asked.
“I’m not angry, I am confused”
“Can I help?”
This was the first time Nandor had said anything besides compliments.
Could he have gone into the third phase?
That wouldn’t make sense because this is more normal.
Maybe after finding out the truth Nandor is able to speak more out of his own will, but with still some effects of the love spell.
It would help make it easier to find a solution with Nandor’s help.
“Do you remember what happened tonight?”
“Yes a witch did a love spell on me and we have been figuring out how to get rid of it,” Nandor said, in a much calmer tone than what was fit for the situation.
“Yes, and you heard from Nadja that you have been enchanted because we like each other?” Guillermo asked cautiously.
“You like me?”
“That’s not impo-,” he looked away from Nandor for a moment.
“Let’s just find the solution”
It had been hard enough to act like this didn’t make him feel more pulled towards Nandor, but to also have him act like he cares was even worse. They should find the solution soon before he starts confessing his love to an enchanted Nandor. Wait! That could be it, the solution to the curse.
"Nandor I have an idea that could maybe be the solution, what if we confessed that we liked each other?”
Nandor looked happy for a moment before he realized something. If the spells would be broken would he feel different towards Guillermo.
He has always felt this way but since earlier this night it is the only thing that consumes his mind.
He also felt Guillermo like he was the only person on earth. He needed to let him know that he was gorgeous and amazing. He felt the need to hold his hand and hug him, but that wasn’t an unusual feeling. Only this time he couldn’t resist and it didn’t matter what anyone thought of him.
Would he still be able to hold his hand and give him compliments?
He had however realized that Guillermo wasn’t all too happy with the circumstances.
He would do anything that would make him happy.
“Okay so I just say that I like you?”
“Yes I guess”
Nandor cleared his throat and prepared himself for any changes that might happen if the spells would break.
“I really like you Guillermo”
Nothing happened.
“I like you too Nandor”
Still nothing happened.
Nandor thought for a moment, he was under a love spell and saying that he liked Guillermo wasn’t working.
Maybe he should say that he was in love with him, that would match the name of the spell.
He collected his courage and said what he hadn’t dared to say for years.
“Guillermo,” he said whilst looking him directly in the eyes.
“I am in love with you”
Guillermo could feel tears forming in his eyes.
He didn’t realize that Nandor was still trying to break the spell and it had felt so honest and true hearted that he replied honestly.
“I love you too,” he said in a shaky voice, the tears threatening to fall from his eyes.
Nandor felt the same shock of magic he felt at the beginning of the evening. He had too gasp for air at the impact of the power.
Guillemro looked at him worriedly, he thought he had said something wrong.
All of the feelings Nandor would normally feel, things like embarrassment, judgment and his general overthinking returned to him in an instance.
“Are you okay master?”
It took a moment for Nandor to register what he had just confessed, his cheeks turned pink.
“Yes I’m great”
Guillermo let out a relieving breath, then he realized what must have happened.
“Did the spell break?”
“Yes”
They both looked at each other embarrassed. The fact that Nanor told him he loved hadn’t really sunk into Guillermo. It must be a cruel joke they had set up. He should just pretend as if the whole thing didn’t happen. He should find another master who wasn’t attractive so that he would never fall in love with them. He should run away and do everything in his power to never encounter Nandor or the other vampires ever again.
Just when he was about to stand up and make up an excuse to run away, Nandor turned towards him.
“Guillermo”
“Yeah I should go,” he stood up and looked at the few belongings he had that he would have to pack. He would miss Nandor dearly, but he couldn't live here with him knowing that he loved him.
“No you should stay,” Nandor stood up and grabbed Guillermo’s arm. He looked desperate but Guillermo didn’t know why. Maybe he would apologize for the sick joke, or maybe he wanted to laugh at him one final time.
Nandor took a step closer, and looked unsure of what to do.
“Look if you want to mock me fine, but please do it once im gone”
“Why would I want to mock you?”
“Because i said tha-, i’ll just go”
His cheeks were red and the tears had started to fall from his eyes. He was tired of all the feelings he had to feel that night. The five minutes of sleep he got didn’t help at all, he still felt miserable.
He didn’t understand what Nandor wanted, but it would hurt to listen to him any longer.
Then Nandor put his face closer to his and put his arms on Guillermo’s shoulders, forcing him to look Nandor in the eyes.
“Guillermo if you still haven’t figured it out yet, I-I love you,” He breathed out a few times to calm himself down.
“I can’t believe you made me say it again,” he pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes out of embarrassment.
“So this wasn’t a prank?” Guillermo asked with a laugh.
“No I was really enchanted by a witch to admit my feelings for you”
Guillermo had never seen Nandor this vulnerable, in his right mind. It felt relieving to see him like this. He calmed down and looked into Nandor’s eyes again. They stood there for a moment just admiring each other. Until Nandor couldn’t hold himself back anymore and started moving his face closer to Guillermo’s.
“Can I?”
“Yes”
He put one hand at the back of his head and the other on his shoulder.
He let out one last sign and softly put his lips on him.
He slowly started moving his lips, afraid Guillermo might suddenly change his mind. Then Guillermo put his arms around Nandor’s waist to pull him closer.
It reassured Nandor to lean into the kiss a bit harder.
They pulled apart to take a breath of air and looked at each other with big smiles on their faces.
Then they tried to kiss again but they both couldn’t stop smiling so they decided to just sit on the bed smiling like they had hung to the moon for each other. Although Nandor had made a trip close to the moon just to impress Guillermo.
Eventually Guillermo fell asleep again and Nandor decided to tell the other’s of the resolution of the curse.
He walked in the fancy room where Laslo and Nadja were discussing something that he wasn’t able to hear from the hallway.
“Hey guys,” Nandor said shyly.
“O hey, have you done it already,” Laslo winked.
“No, and it’s none of your business”
“Ha, I called it,” Nadja laughed cheerfully.
Laslo gave her a few ancient coins. Seriously, they had made a bet.
“But seeing from the gigantic blush on you face from the blood that isn’t yours, Our idea did work”
“My idea really,” Nadja replied, folding her arms over each other.
“Yes, but it was me who found the solution so”
“well what was it?” Laslo asked eagerly. Nadja also looked like she would love to know.
“We had to tell each other that we loved each other,” he looked away shyly, even the vampires had never seen him this open. But judging by their faces they found it adorable.
“Well congratulations,” Colin Robinson came out of nowhere and scared the three of them”
With a hand on his no longer pumping heart Nandor said,“ What the shit Colin Robinson”
He left the room just as quickly as he had appeared with an annoying laugh that sounded like a dying animal.
The rest of the vampires bid each other goodbye for the day and went to their coffins. When the light of day made its appearance again Guillermo woke up and started doing some chores.
He didn’t know if his position in the household would change now that he had something going on with Nandor.
He hoped it would, the work was exhausting and he wanted to spend more time together with Nandor.
Then he remembered that they should probably talk to the witch, as she had insinuated.
The moment the sun disappeared he ran to Nandor’s room and woke him up like he had done for over a decade. Only this time Nador kissed him once he walked down the steps of the stairs next to his coffin.
Guillermo explained his plan of talking to the witch.
Nandor agreed and so they went outside. They expected to make the journey back to the park, but the witch was standing outside the door. She clearly had been expecting them.
“Umm hello”
The witch rolled her eyes, “you can also thank me”
“For putting me under a love spell?”
“yes”
“I mean because of you we are now together so”
Guillermo couldn’t believe him and let out a laugh. Of course Nandor would find the circumstances normal. And wait did he just say, together.
“Wait but how did you know we liked each other?” Guillermo asked
“Come on, look at the two of you, it is clear as day,” she moved her hands into the air to point at the sky, but then she realized it was nighttime.
“Well I’ll leave you two lovebirds to it,” she disappeared into thin air again.
They were stunned at how obvious their desire had apparently been. Nandor felt like it was an appropriate time to kiss Guillermo again, but he was just about to say something so Nandor was stopped by a smiling Guillermo.
“I just wanted to know what my position will be from now on, I thought about it the whole day,” He admitted.
“You will be with me of course, I do hope you still want to be my bodyguard, but we will find a new familiar and on our wedding night you will become a vampire.
Guillermo was more than shocked, marrying Nandor, becoming a vampire and no more burying bodies on a daily basis. He could cry, and he did.
“O Guillermo what is it? Do you want me to make you a vampire right now?”
“No no, I’m just really happy,” he smiled through his tears.
“O silly boy,” Nandor picked him up like he was a feather, and kissed him.
They heard a cough, when they turned around they could see Sean smiling behind a can of beer.
It was eight in the morning. This man was certainly an alcoholic, no wonder Laslo got on with him.
He had also just seen them kissing as well.
It embarrassed him but to be honest the feeling of kissing Nandor was overwhelming over the feeling of embarrassment.
They simply waved him goodbye and went inside to continue their kissing.
