He's smiling with his full face just like he was two days ago when the entire Spider Society cheered his name, or Gwen and Pav screamed extemporary lyrics to a tune he'd made, or when he met Hobie's eyes after the fact and his smile softened because he doesn't have to pretend so much with this one, not the one who stuck by him in his darkest hour when it would've been so much easier to just conform to the resignation of the nihilist fate of all Spider-People. No, Hobie stuck by him. Yes, Miles' smile is something special. No one else's eyes sparkle like Miles Morales' when he's saving the multiverse in the ever-so-casual way he does. There's a spark in that one, Hobie knows.'
